4. The problerm is
Mira ,   Vienna   (03.15.14)
that Israel hasn't got whatsoever trust into any Muslim! Beside there are so many different "rebels" that one never knowss whom exactly you support! And above all I would demand to link such a support to a downwritten acknowledgement of Israel as a JEWISH STATE!
5. desperate rebels
birtsinut ,   Finland   (03.15.14)
These rebels are in no position to offer anything. They are getting beaten and worn out by Assad's forces. However, I would still like wish both sides of the Syrian conflict the utmost success in destroying each other.
6. Let these arabs go to the house of saud
(03.15.14)
7. The Golan is part of Israel and it is not for anyone to...
N.L.Katz ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (03.15.14)
...either give it or take it. Israel committed to act only in if directly attacked and if there is a transfer to strategic weapons by the Assad regime to others, e.g. Hizballah. Israel may choose to participate or may choose not to participate in other, non humanitarian actions, as part of a larger coalition of forces, but not by itself. We, Israelis, are watching and hearing events across the borders with much pain, truly pain at the mass slaughter that is taking place there. And, we have all the empathy for the people of Syria. Our hands, however, are tied to a large extent.
8. no one cares about SNC
abdullah ,   jordan   (03.15.14)
No one cares about Syrian opposition council.certainly Not the rebels.
9. Israel co-opting enemies, Saudi, Jordan, Egypt, Syria

...Lebanon, Russia, China.
10. Don't be fooled by the two-faced Muslim!
Steve ,   DC USA   (03.15.14)
Muslims will tell you anything you want to hear. They will promise you anything you want then go behind you and stab you in the back. It is their nature. Peace treaties are temporary while they regroup in order to destroy you. Last year, the head of the moderate Syrian resistance told the world that Israel was the real enemy! Never trust the word of a Muslim! Israel should only hope that they kill each other to the last man in Syria!
11. When did rebels OWN it to sell it?
Abrasax Purson ,   New Orleans, La   (03.15.14)
It's a strange deal to offer Golan heights to Israel for airsupport when it's not recognized as rebel territory. But if Israel appreciate the rebels they would HAVE to supply airsupport. Isn't the western motto that air superiority is KEY to winning a war?? Why has Israel supplied weapons against a MUCH stronger army but not the much needed air support for the rebels??
12. The great tragedy- utter uselessness of UN
Sidney ,   USA   (03.15.14)
Syria with the help of Russia and Iran has established a new international principle - a government willing to slaughter its people can remain in power indefinitely. Syria is a shame of a world that pretends to be civilized. Israel hasn't the power to change the real international law, might is right.
13. Let the sunni Air Force set no fly zone

LJH ,   Canada   (03.15.14)
you can't sell something to someone that they already own.

Calm down folks. Only reported by official Iranian news. Just attempts by Iran to reduce support for rebels.
17. Jews bought Golan more than once
GS ,   Germany   (03.15.14)
And even "paid" with their own blood the very last time. / You shouldn't take news concerning the State of Israel by Fars Agency serious. Especially around Purim when the weak regime in Tehran is filled with fear./ Chag Purim sameach.
18. no. 9 - how do they do that? you have no answer, mouthing off

as usual
19. WE SHOULD DO A DEAL WITH THEM
David ,   Shiloh Israel   (03.15.14)
I'm a right wing Jewish settler. That doesn't mean that I subscribe to the idea of letting all our Arab cousins go to hell. I am a man of war, but prefer to iive in peace. We don't need to get down to semantics over our ownership of the Golan, to the point of making them sweat for it. The key issue here is having a peace accord on the basis of providing them with logistical support. and their recognition of Isreal, together with our rights. I say 100% yes let's do that! \we are the real power brokers here and not this present US government which puts a great nation to shame. To Jewish commentators in the USA, join us and make Israel stronger, for the Jewish Homeland, and also for Arab neighbors desiring to live in peace with us.
20. nothing to sell
jochair ,   kfar saba Israel   (03.15.14)
the Golan belongs to Israel, so the rebels have nothing to sell, and though I sympathize with the rebels Israel will help them militarily.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.15.14)
"They?" The "they" from whom Abraham purchased the Machpelah had nothing to do with present-day Arabs, and whoever those "they" were are really no longer identifiable. I'll bet you this much, though: if we ever were to open the tomb and extract DNA from the patriarchs and matriarchs buried there, we would discover that Jews are their direct descendants. Present-day Arabs? Not at all. Arabs may believe that they descend from Ishmael, who would have inherited 50 percent of his DNA from Abraham, but they don't. Jewish DNA and Arab DNA are quite dissimilar. Arabs come from the Hejaz in the Western Arabian desert and a common ancestor has never been found. Jews come from the people buried in the Machpelah; I'd bet the ranch on that. And Jews who identify themselves as "Cohanim" descend directly from Moses' brother, Aaron. The Cohanim share a common Y chromosome marker, which is known as the Cohen gene. It's been found in Jews throughout the world, and only rarely in other populations. The land is ours. The Machpelah belongs to us, too. The Arabs have nothing to do with it. Jewish and Arab DNA are markedly different.
22. What no fly zone? Break international law for what?
Miron ,   USA   (03.15.14)
23. Syrian Rebels
FF ,   Brazil   (03.15.14)
It must be a joke. Who will trust them? behind Them is Al Qaeda. And by the way Golan Heights belongs to Israel.
24. Arab League supports rebels. Let them enforce no-fly zone.
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (03.15.14)
25. #18, Google "A Clean Break"
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (03.15.14)
"A Clean Break: A New Strategy for Securing the Realm (commonly known as the "Clean Break" report) is a policy document that was prepared in 1996 by a study group led by Richard Perle for Benjamin Netanyahu, the then Prime Minister of Israel.[1] The report explained a new approach to solving Israel's security problems in the Middle East with an emphasis on "Western values". It has since been criticized for advocating an aggressive new policy including the removal of Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq, and the containment of Syria by engaging in proxy warfare and highlighting their possession of "weapons of mass destruction"."

28. David #19
(03.15.14)
Never behaved like Esau that sold what belongs to him.
29. Why should ISrael help the islamic terrorists??
Beary White ,   Norway   (03.15.14)
They are the most gruesome terrorists, torture, raping and killing of civilians are the their only offer to the world. Let they have their way, and as Sarah Palin said, ...allah will do the rest..". I totally agree. These terrorists, streaming from every islamic-cult-society all over the world, actually do not deserve better either, death must be their only option. In that way they achieved their happy goal, being a dead martyr (hoax) :-))
30. Its already been annexed by Israel long ago.soooria can go
