Far more genuine martyrs are the innocent Syrians killed by their regime, while the "anti-Israel" crowd consciously looks away and ignores the atrocities. No change in balance of power in Syria unless intervention takes place soon. The rebels may have to take out the regime's leadership one by one through coordinated attacks. To take out Assad they only have to succeed once.

zionist forever   (03.24.14)
Hafez Assad is still remembered in Syria as one of the best arab leaders of all time because he was willing to go to war with Israel. His son has been in power just 14 years, and has not only destroyed his own career but that of his relatives and they are getting themselves killed and to make it worse its not even a glorious death fighting the zionist entity with all its war toys but against lightly armed rebels
8. #7 actually

The Assads are lampooned in some quarters for not firing a shot at Israel since 1973. Instead the Assads occupied Lebanon and killed thousands of Lebanese, using the same collaborators that are being used to kill Syrians.
