President Carter, you are wrong. Israel never demanded Arab Palestinians to become Jews. It has always declared Israel to be a Jewish State. That has been the goal of Jewish nationalists around Zion-Jerusalem-Land of Israel aka Zionists since Herzl, Ben Gurion, Jabotinsky, and so on. Israel's 1948 Declaration had declared Israel a Jewish State. To ask Israeli Jews to give that up by calling it a new demand is a falsification of history, and an injustice against Jews in Israel.
