1. Crossed Fingers
Owen ,   USA   (03.26.14)
FYI... 'Crossed fingers' represents the Christian image of Jesus on the cross of crucifixion. It is a form of prayer or supplication of salvation through belief in Jesus as the Christian man-god savior.
2. Israel, Saudis want Cold War Dictators back, engineered coup
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (03.26.14)
3. Sisi must be the winner for Israel's interests.

4. Israel needs a dictator in Egypt.
Chas. ,   Los Angeles   (03.26.14)
It is ironic that the "only democratic country in the mid-east" needs a dictator in all their neighboring countries to feel more secure. There is food for thought here when a country has the common people of their neighbors as enemies and the the dictatorial leaders as, if not friends, at least their co-conspirators. Good luck with your relationships, but it's significance wont be lost on the rest of the world.

Why post that on this site-who cares what your crossed fingers represent.
6. Bassem Youssef NOT in jail
GS ,   Germany   (03.26.14)
You can watch his show 'El-Benameg' every friday night. What jail?
7. No! Even Dr. Pipes came out against
Logic ,   Israel   (03.26.14)
the overly heavy hand of Sisi, which may serve only to strengthen the MB.
8. #4 Both regimes are dictatorships
Logic ,   Israel   (03.26.14)
One regime is a secular military dictatorship and the Morsi regime was a theocratic dictatorship. It's not Israel's fault that her neighbors have terrible politics, but the theocratic one was more dangerous to Israel in the realpolitik sense. Now its time for the USA to take the lead and regulate this regime with carrots and sticks, which was an impossible mission with the medieval theocrats.
9. Bassem Youssef accused of PLAGIARISM but not in jail.
GS ,   Germany   (03.26.14)
He has come under fire after being accused of plagiarism. Bassem plagiarised an article by british writer Ben Judah. And: He is not in jail. If you hear: "He silences himself" means, he's not writing right now. That is his own decision. The TV-Show 'El-Benameg' is not affected and goes on.

The truth is Israel does not care and cannot influence who rules Egypt. Your criticism should be directed at the writer, Ms. Perry an extreme-Leftist pro-Obama journalist. As for "relationships" it is with sadness that I remind you that your current regime is the main supporter of Turkey (despite Kurdistan and Cyprus), and as we saw in Egypt, Syria and Libya, Christian-murdering jihadis.
11. Pray for Israeli P.M. with guts to keep all our lands.
Chaim ,   Israel   (03.26.14)
The only reason Israel is worried about events in Egypt is because Israel foolishly ceded the Sinai. Had Israel kept the Sinai, and all our liberated lands, Israel would be far stronger and richer. We should pray for Israeli leaders with the guts to claim and keep all our liberated land forever.

More so called Jewish values... praying for bloody butcher ,...

You're a fine one to talk! Last I checked, Torquemada, Chelmnicki and Hitler (may their names be cursed throughout eternity) were all Roman Catholics. Not to mention all those popes -- they were Roman Catholics, too -- soaked in the blood of tens of millions of Jews. Why don't you address their values, sluggo?
14. #4 the utopian democratic view is problematic
Shachar ,   Eilat   (03.27.14)
Egypt is going through very distressing times both economically and identity-wise. They can't support themselves and can't decide who they want to be. Democracy is a poor system of government in these situations. Egypt needs to get back on her feet and then build a democratic system gradually- it is the only reasonable option.

I bet that you thank the RC church for your Polish Sausage.
16. Al Sisi is the Shizz........
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (03.27.14)
The only language Islamo Terrorists like Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood understand are bullets and violence. Al Sisi is just the guy Egypt needs to get rid of the terrorist vermin. A majority of Egyptians will vote for him...and I assure you...he will stay in power. Obama should take his head out of his touchas and support him!!!
17. Israel really has
rm ,   NL Amsterdam   (03.28.14)
a soft spot for Egyptian dictators don't they. Scary.....
