But one does have to marvel at the interesting dichotomy of the holier-than-thou Revolutionary Guard, the shining stars of Iranian Islamic purity, being the booze-runners. What's next? Secret knocks and "Ruhollah sent me," that's what! Iran must be a wonderful place. No drug addiction, no homosexuality and, now, no alcoholism. Paradise on earth, I'm betting. Raising a generation of drunks.

the Moslems who discovered alcohol *thus; al khool, the spirit) should not be able to drink it. makes no sense to me. but those Moslems who do imbibe have good sense. as do many other peoples.
