The US should not have voted for Israel on it's treatment of the Palestinians, the world knows they treat the Palestinians poorly. If the US is the peace broker why take sides? The US should have abstained.

The reason why Canada is not there is because of Israel in the first place. A while ago while new seats on the security council were up for grabs Canada voted with Israel on some issues of the day and this caused Canada to fall out of favor amongst the voting body in the UNSC. It was the fact that Canada supports Israel so staunchly, in the first place, that lost Canada its ability to vote on such nonsense like this that happens at the UNSC. Look it up. Google it. It won't take you long. The Harper government got some heat over the issue in Canada. You should try to remember your history.

The more i read these posts, the more I hope my country dumps Israel. Israelis have zero appreciation for anything the United States does for them and are whiney little pissants. I can't believe it.
