1. The only problem with Olmert was
Sam ,   PT   (03.31.14)
that he was caught, as told by an insider. Most, if not all, Zionist politicians and self-appointed judges are corrupt. The problem was the Olmert was caught and of course, the judge can never get caught...
2. this is how US extorts from Israel through blackmail
(03.31.14)
they blackmail corrupt leaders of which there have been many. this may explain inconsistent and conflicting behavior of leaders. e.g. Sharon, Livni, Olmert, Peres.....what do they have on BB....perhaps it started in the US at the CFR
3. Many People Must be Above the Law in Israel
Abdel Karim Salim ,   Jerusalem   (03.31.14)
In Israel Mafia mobsters and secret service personnel are, most probably , above the law . One could guess or even resourcefully conclude so after reporting many offenders and law violators to the Israeli police only to find out later that Israel's police simply let the offenders go and escape justice . Arabs who work as informers for Israel's security agencies or who collaborate with Israeli underground rackets of drugs and prostitution almost always escape scot-free . I have witnessed many cases of this kind . Besides, Israel's external security agency, the " Office " , was reported to have been aware all the time of Yitzhak Rabin's secret overseas bank account but did not divulge the matter until 1977 thereby causing the collapse of the cabinet and the call for new elections. To sum up , don't try to convince of a " wonderful Israeli justice system " simply because some power groups here are aware of all violators of law but do not report them until there is a convenient time for them to do so...
4. you missed one...
(03.31.14)
the fellow whose friend was involved in a very unusual gas deal in the Caribbean region....
5. Those who are above the Law
Michael ,   Haifa   (03.31.14)
Half of this article is devoted to those who successfully got away with corruption accusations. The other half of the article ignores our "shtetl" culture that sees nothing wrong with corruption. .
6. Liberman still on the loose
Miri ,   Holon   (03.31.14)
The biggest criminal of them all so far he has managed to slip through the net. Just a matter of time before his crimes come to light
7. Israel is really making a fool of themselves to the world
Sam ,   PT   (03.31.14)
by convicting exPMs, Presidents and Ministers. How can the world look up to Israel if their Zionist leaders are so corrupt?
8. Olmerts conviction was Kadimas death blow
zionist forever   (03.31.14)
Olmert has been the man Kadima has been waiting to return and lead them from the wilderness that Livni took them into when she was leader. Everybody thought Olmert was going to be making his big comeback next election and he was getting political again trying to lay the groundwork for a political comeback now though kadimas messiah won't be making his second coming. For the party to survive Mofaz is either going to have to pull something special out the bag especially with the electoral threshold being raised or they need to find a new leader who can bring them back. Personally I would like to see both Kadima & Livni survive as little parties because then they will be taking seats from Labor which could mean the difference between a Labor / Meretz coalition and Likud / Yisrael Beitainu.
9. The problem is
Israeli 2   (03.31.14)
that the laws in Israel are neither Jewish nor Israeli and the judges are all politically corrupt. (לצערי הרב)
10. haha..the LAW is screwed up in Israel big time.
Z.Lazkow ,   israel   (03.31.14)
President Katsav was framed from A to Z. Everything was made up, from A to Z. The political mafia turned the "law" into a mashed potato. Now exactly the same lies are used against Silvan Shalom, word for word. Criminal politicians are spitting at law.
11. Olmert fondled me on my butt
Alef Bet   (03.31.14)
Where can I go to accuse him and increase his sentence? I expect as usual my identity and testimony will remain state secrets. Help me, I've been sexually stimulated by a corrupt politician.
12. The ashkenazi establishment act like the mafia
Dovdevan ,   Ashdod,Paris   (03.31.14)
They think they are above the law they CAN steal they CAN rape they send people to make wars for me they are worse than the mafia
13. Jacky Matza
jacky matza ,   Askelon   (03.31.14)
worth a mention is that huge gangster, Jacky Matza. Head of income tax, and used his power to steal taxes ! this scumbag, once released from prison, continues to this day to "advise" companies how to launder money. Our very own Tony Soprano should be thrown back in jail for the 7 years he deserved.
14. to Abdel Karim Salim - let's separate
a Jerusalemite   (03.31.14)
It's kind of confusing for me as an Israeli Jews to see the Arabs of east Jerusalem taking advantage of a country they don't really belong to. I hope that in the near future the city will be divided and your comment will be that of citizen of a Palestinian state - and you'll get all your resident services from your Palestinian brothers not Israel. THat of course if you didn't already requested and got an Israeli citizenship. It seems to me many Arabs of east Jerusalem who got so used to spending all their time in Israeli society and environment forget that they are not really part of this country.
15. # 1 Sam, your ignorance is showing
Stan ,   Israel   (03.31.14)
A year ago former judge Dan Cohen was extradited from Peru. He is charged with taking bribes and other financial crimes.
