1. We should learn from Australia & New Zealand...
Israel ,   Israel   (04.01.14)
Their immigration laws are crystal clear: A non-Australian and/or a non-New Zealander are welcome to come in and work for one year after that good bye you are sent home. Most of these so-called asylum seekers are nothing more or less than people looking to become migrating workers -- let them migrate right out the door. We don't want them here.
2. If they have come in via Egypt then they are not refugees
Eric ,   Tel Aviv & NYC   (04.01.14)
International law is clear: you are only a refugee in the first country that you enter after fleeing your own home country. Crossing several international borders to get to Israel negates the status of refugee unless they flew to Israel.
3. I imagine many of israels very poor would love Holot
zionist forever   (04.01.14)
The Holot detention centre which the human rights groups are calling a prison is the kind of prison I imagine that many of Israels poor would like to be sent to. Its an open facility so they can come and go in the day as long as they are back by curfew. Thee place is hygienic, plenty of entertainment, roof over their head, a school for the kids, hot meals and to top it all a salary of around 500 Shekel a month for doing absolutely nothing other than live in this prison. The very poor in Israel get left to survive without government intervention, for them being sent to Holot would be a dream come true.
4. ''human right''NGO . What about the RIGHTS of Jews?!
(04.01.14)
5. 4 Israel is for israelis
(04.01.14)
With such a ghetto attitude you'll never make friends Israel is not only made by and for Jews so you better wake up
6. Enough already !
Tzimmes ,   Tel Aviv   (04.01.14)
We are damned whatever we do,so we should act in our own best interests, world opinion is sickeningly biased against us regardless. We owe these people nothing they are ruining the lives of other poor Jewish migrants who have a hard time without this unwelcome ,uninvited and unwanted mainly Muslim alien group.
7. illegals
Farren ,   Israel   (04.01.14)
Zero tolerant for illegal's. We don't need these Muslim illegals' let them go the 53 Arab Rich Nations.
8. Israel can thank MK herzog et al. for this problem
dante   (04.01.14)
people like herzog, amos oz, etc. are responsible for this problem. how many of these great humanitarians have turned their houses over to the economic migrants? before they and the members of the high court further exacerbate this problem, ask them how many migrants they, personally, are going to house. bus them over to amos oz' house. let's see how big he is with his OWN house, his OWN pocket. same with the fool, herzog, et al.
