1. Iran has no WMDs, no nukes, no chems, no bio, why? Ideology.
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (04.02.14)
Israel must join Iran in renouncing WMDs... "Iran...is not known to currently possess weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and has signed treaties repudiating the possession of weapons of mass destruction including the Biological Weapons Convention, the Chemical Weapons Convention, and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). Iran has first-hand knowledge of WMD effects—over 100,000 Iranian troops and civilians were victims of chemical weapons during the 1980s Iran–Iraq War. On ideological grounds, a public and categorical religious decree (fatwa) against the development, production, stockpiling and use of nuclear weapons has been issued by the Supreme Leader of Iran Ayatollah Ali Khamenei

You know those Mullah's want to nuke those Danish cartoonists and those infidel teachers who allow their Muslim classes to name their teddy bears after their own prophet.

As suggested in the past, there are existing Rx designs and proven fuel systems that could be the basis for a good-enough test/research facility for legitimate Iran needs. Fuels (5-6%enrich) were developed under the unclass. RERTR program under USDOE and USACDA. Some optimization of designs may help. If Iran persists, the solution is a few kinetic devices (no explosives) through containment or the heat removal system. Will do the trick with minimum collateral effects.
5. @ steve nr 1 When has Israel ever threatened....
Ivan ,   South Africa   (04.02.14)

7. the simplest "modification"
tom ,   toronto, canada   (04.03.14)
just blow it up. none of this "cleverness" explains away the fact that iran is a natural gas exporting country, which cannot even efficiently distribute the electricity which it is currently generating. nor is there any way to guarantee that if they are allowed to complete a plutonium reactor that they will make any such modifications. so far, their track record is that they have not dismantled a single centrifuge since these "talks" began, so why should they start taking america, or the eu, seriously, all of a sudden? the iraqis didn't rebuild osiraq.

And you can file those statements with the succession of Iranian heads of state that have asserted that there is no drug addiction or homosexuality in Iran.
