1. The Left ist response
Obnoxious Obstacle   (04.04.14)
the arabs just made it easy for us, even Livni is outraged. She and the left will over release 100. As for Area C they will agree to give up area C and have offered to remove the Jews as well for another 30 days of negotiating room The idea of agreeing to 67 borders is outrageous. Only with land swaps. And in exchange for the PA to continue negotiations past next friday, Livni offers to appoint Abbas president of Israel. They say we are going to be touch on those arabs. Meretz says Livni is a war monger in offering these outrageous terms and is herself a obstacle of peace.
2. Peace talks
Annika ,   Tel Aviv   (04.04.14)
I pity the Israeli people and Israel. They might not do everything politacally correct, but you try to make peace with an arab country! Just read the daily news concerning any matter in any arab country and lets see how you could manage!
3. If I were P.M of Israel . .
Mike ,   NZ   (04.04.14)
I would reply to the latest list of demands from the Palis! by telling them to get stuffed . . How can you negotiate when the other party keeps moving the goal posts. The palis have no claim to Jerusalem . . They never built it . . They turn their backs on it to pray (turn to Mecca) and they only lived there as occupiers . . How dare they try and deny us our history !
4. Arabs are delusional as usual
CJK   (04.04.14)
none of their demands will be met. even obama cannot impose dictates on the sovereign jewish state of israel. the arabs have not won any wars in hundreds of years. the umma is tearing itself to bits and is bleeding from a thousand wounds. the jewish holy city of jerusalem will remain jewish for all eternity.
5. No more talks
James ,   USA   (04.04.14)
Both Kerry and Abbas are really good at giving away or taking what was not theirs to begin with and somebody, really really stupid is going along with this game. Declare the PA a terrorist organization, issue arrest warrants and stop this farce. Is Israel so civilized it has forgotten how to fight back? Be on the offensive for a change. I'm ashamed at the poor leadership Israel has put together. They have forgotten why Israel exists.
6. Israel going to release prisoners, but "dog ate my homework"
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (04.04.14)
...excuse. "Israel has a habit of evading agreements and conventions it has signed"
7. I don't like a bit of what I read here!
Israeli 2   (04.04.14)
Besides, I do not like the PM and Kerry smiling like that....too suspicious.
8. Really Mr B. No 6
Mike ,   NZ   (04.04.14)
Tell me .... What did the US do with the SEATO treaty ? If you knew what that was ! Time for a history lesson Mr B
9. Palestine and Israel, you're being caught in a trap,
Erin ,   USA   (04.04.14)
Watch out for the dragon, he's about to bite both of you. Be careful to each other.
10. Its the WRONG way of doing it
Sammy ,   Newcastle   (04.04.14)
Many Palestinians who want releases have consistently advocated a different approach The idea of these releases en Masse at ad hoc intervals just does not make sense What intervals, how many releases, who to release...it creates such havoc not only for Israel but the PA who have to arrange mass counselling, rehabilitation, retraining What should be happening is from Day 1 of the Negotiations an orderly quiet weekly release accelerating as talks progress rather than these hideous parades of people released as if it was some sort of victory
11. #6 Prisoner release was conditional on progress in
A ,   Belgium   (04.04.14)
"peace talks", of which there wasn't any. Guess you overlooked that part, right Benazi? And here's an even sorrier excuse by the "palestinians": "Abbas agreed not to take unilateral steps at the United Nations for the time being, and to restart talks even in the absence of a full Jewish "settlement freeze."
