This man as president along with the unpopularity of Hezbollah involvement in Syria will hurt Hezbollah as a political force. If Israel at the same time makes gestures of peace ( not land for peace ) then its possible we might actually be able to make peace with Lebanon. If the pro Hezbollah candidate wins the election because of their fighting in Syria which is unpopular but he will no doubt support it then it will tear Lebanon apart. bringing it closer to another civil war. The time has come when Lebanon needs peace with Israel for its own sake.
