1. Abbas and UN
Jez ,   Netanya   (04.06.14)
Its about time Israel stopped worrying about the Palestinians going to the UN ( as Lieberman said was their right) and remove this albatross from Israel's neck.It is not going to achieve anything; or perhaps it will - it might enable their leadership to realise they are not doing their people a favour - only their own pockets with European aid
2. Bibi - YOU are spitting in our face!!!!!!!!!
Levine ,   Israel   (04.06.14)
Release and adopt the Levy Report. Why do you let the world keep thinking that we are occupiers when we are NOT OCCUPIERS?!!!!!!!!! Tell the TRUTH. Defend the land of Israel.
3. ANNEX JUDEA AND SAMARIA NOW !
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (04.06.14)
4. This is why they say we own Hollywood
HIstory nut ,   Israel   (04.06.14)
Actors. We knew 100% that this would go nowhere when this government released murderers. Thank Heaven somebody stood up before the last travesty was completed.

6. above
moishe   (04.06.14)
a good and sustainable deal is were both sides win through compromise. and its always Israel's fault. its about time for Israel to take a no nonsense stand. otherwise Israel will lose. no peace at any price because peace will not happen.
7. The futile talks
Moshe ,   Israel   (04.06.14)
Israel's negotiations with the intransigent Palestinians , is like a shopper who bargain with a vendor about merchandise which he has already sold.
8. Not at any political price to Netanyahu
Taxpayer ,   Hod Hasharon   (04.06.14)
Before contributing to the collapse of the talks -= Netanyahu had the responsibility to man up stand up to the vested interests in the Extremist Jewish home party, freeze building for six months, releae the Arab Israeli prisioners without pardoning them so that they could be reimprisoned if necessary and leave not one trace of dount that he has done everything humanly possible to bring peace. Dark days are ahead of them - he is sheltered the economy is not -
9. lesson in psychiatry
(04.06.14)
Psychiatrists increasingly recognize Leftism as a severe mental illness. See #8 to understand why. First, according to the Rabin principle an Israeli PM must only care about his voters, and not the good of the country. Why does Leftist #8 slam Netanyahu for following Rabin? Classic passive-aggressive behavior. Worse is #8 attacking Netanyahu, when the talks failed because of Abbas who told Leftist leader Livni he would continue negotiations only if Israel accepted all of his demands now. Classic schizophrenia.
10. "Palestinians" are mortal foes. End evil talks.
Chaim ,   Israel   (04.06.14)
"Palestinians" are mortal foes, like Nazis, and must be soundly defeated as the Nazis were. End the evil phony "peace talks with Palestinians".
11. NEGATIVE STEPS FOR A POSITIVE OUTCOME?
Joe Asfour ,   Burke, USA   (04.06.14)
In negotiations if you want to achieve a positive outcome you better outline steps that have positive connotations rather than negative effects. In this case Israel seems more intent in deploying negative efforts so as to kill peace prospects by all possible means. Then why negotiate ? As some readers here suggest let us stop all this nonsense and continue to live in conflict for generations to come because this proves to be the best alternative for our narrow minded approach .Is this the type of future that Israel wants to share with people they have to live next door? Or does Israel have other plans to empty the entire West Bank and Gaza from its inhabitants and continue to build settlements? Is this sane or what?
12. #5 Tell him my dear nephew, he needs to hear it
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (04.06.14)
When you insist on playing with fire, you're bound to get burned.
13. Talks, Not Solutions, Only US Generous Teat ...
Jersey Jew ,   New Jersey, USA   (04.06.14)
Our USA needs to step back & support only World recognized solutions instead of continually feeding self-interested egos. We need Judaic solutions, not @50 years of incredibly generous US support with only resulting demands, cries of victimhood and ungrateful abuse ...
14. Obama set Israel up to fail, proved it wants land, not peace
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (04.06.14)
...clearing the way for Obama UNSC '67 borders, NATO security in Wet Bank. A new starting point for negotiations, right of return, war reparations, Two States, One Country Federation.
15. Israel's most appropriate unilateral action, or Plan B if
N.L.Katz ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (04.06.14)
you will, ought to be the application of Israeli law on all of Area C and actually enforce the law there, with regard to Jews and Arabs alike.
16. #11 Joe, that last suggestion of yours isn't too shabby
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (04.06.14)
17. #11 joe
solomon ,   bklyn   (04.06.14)
Israel has answered negative steps of the arabs with positive steps time and time again. Didn’t help. Its about time to fight fire with fire, since negativism is all they (PA, Abbas) take seriously.
18. Steps to a positive outcome
BUILD BABY BUILD!!!!   (04.06.14)
It isn't Israel who commits acts of terror and denies the pals right to exist. Yes, I believe Israel does have other plans to empty the entire west bank and gaza, and to build more settlements the next logical step towards this positive direction is Annexation and Repatriation of all pals to Jordan. Consider this fortunate for, had the pals had their way, they would murder every Jew in all of Israel. War is hell and only winning counts, call me when the pals achieve one victory. NEVER STOP BUILDING ISRAEL!!!! So far, thank G-d Israel hasn't lost and keeps winning.
19. #14 Not mine
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (04.06.14)
20. American viewpoint
James ,   USA   (04.06.14)
Interesting commentary from US media but on a whole, they believe the US has little or no diplomatic intrest in Isreal and they have embarrassed themselves internationally by getting involved in a local conflict. The only way they can extricate themselves is to go along with the international community and support PA legitimacy and refuse to act against the BDS movement. In short, the US is now ready to stick a knife in Israel's back. Solution, as fast as possible, deligitamize the entire PA and give them nowhere to turn. Unless that is done, pack up swimming suits, it's a long swim across the Meditarranian.
21. Obama set Islam up to fail, proved it wants land, not peace
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (04.06.14)
22. # 14 LOL obama will be lucky if he avoids impeachment
BUILD BABY BUILD!!!!   (04.06.14)
One state Israel pals to be Repatriated to Jordan after Israel's total Annexation of all of Israel. The goal, no pals in Israel. KEEP BUILDING !!!!!
23. Netanyahu's unilateral steps - not unilateral words
Alexander ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (04.06.14)
I certainly hope that THIS time we will see Netanyahu's unliteral STEPS/ACTIONS, and NOT unilateral LECTURES/WORDS. Netanyahu has to stop talking and start taking action -including undermining the very existence of PLO/Fatah/Hamas/Abbas, and the Arab population of Judea, Samaria and Gaza as well. Israel needs to expel the Arabs, annex the territories, destroy Iran's nuclear program (and the Iranian army/navy/air force as well), expel the Arab population of Jordan (which is OUR historical/legal homeland as well) to Saudi Arabia, annex Jordan, and finally conquer southern Lebanon up until the bend of the Litani river and annex it. Cis-Jordan, Trans-Jordan and southern Lebanon up until the bend of the Litani river, is our HISTORICAL homeland, based on 4000 years of Jewish history in Israel, and our LEGAL homeland, based on two legally binding treaties recognized by international law, called the San Remo treaty signed April 1920, and the Anglo-American treaty, signed 3rd of December 1924 in London UK. Israel has every right to every square inch of land of Cis-Jordan (Israel within the 1949 armistice line), Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, Golan and Gaza), Trans-Jordan (Jordan), and southern Lebanon up until the bend of the Litani river. Israel has also every right to expel non-citizens from this land. This too is a legal right accepted by international law, and international law should apply to Israel as well, even if it means that anti-Semties are forced to admit that international law essentially gives Israel the SAME rights and privileges.
24. Bibi; if you are gutless, step down
Norbus ,   Jerusalem   (04.06.14)
Sooner we defend for real and not keep giving way, the better chance we stand of averting a second holocaust. We are being set up for one. Take on Abbas at ICC, attack the UN bias and esrablish the international law' Jerusalem indivisible, Yehuda & Shomron are under our Sovereignty. Stand and fight, or step down.Obama has had it
25. PLEASE, LISTEN TO ME.....
les ,   canada   (04.06.14)
i have a great, but "very complicated" solution to the negotiating process. The prime minster calls mr kerry, and tell him. we don't want to hear, see, listen to, nor consider any palestinian demands, blackmails, threats ect. we'll go to negotiating table, when they come with NO DEMANDS, PRECONDITION, UN THREATS ETC. PERIOD!
26. 21 not mine.
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (04.06.14)
27. Action speaks louder...
(04.06.14)
God wasn't in that negotiation with leftist Livni.
28. Time for noble peace prize...
(04.06.14)
For Bibi Netanyahu that heeded the call not to seat in counsel of ungodly and sent leftist Livni and caught in their own leftist ungodly ways - that means when God came the government of Israel not caught in negotiation with ungodly to give away its land and territories.
29. #20 james
solomon ,   bklyn   (04.07.14)
Your "American viewpoint" is in reality your own viewpoint. Nowhere do I read that the only way for America is to "go along with the international community and support PA legitimacy ". That is your own wishful thinking. Nice try though.
