31. "We are noticing a real coolness in the way the Americans
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (04.07.14)
are treating (the peace process), and it's obvious that today's Kerry is not the same Kerry from a few weeks ago," Well duh, they just had ice cold water poured over their heads......
32. 12-Obama will be impeached and out f office before UNSC 2015
(04.07.14)
33. The Present Reality
Zechariah   (04.07.14)
The Present Reality is for an interim deal which the Fatah nationalists and Hamas Jihadi would kill Abbas and the Leadership if they could .Abbas Knows this .Netanyahu is also in danger tho he could get away with Exile with his Rightist Social Darwinists to the USA.Born in the USA he could get Secretary of State in a Republican administration.
34. Talks over? Since when?
Sammy ,   Newcastle   (04.07.14)
The PA and Israelis were mandated to Talk and Negotiate however long that it took until an Agreement was reached Not bluster and whine at the first signs of difficulty - because we all knew that there would be no shortage of problems, but we also knew that for each problem there IS a solution and resolution So now both parties have basked in the media glow, done some spoiling and ranting...its time to get back into quiet deliberate and serious negotiations that we have entrusted our leaders to conduct And as far as Prisoner Releases are concerned the solution is glaringly simple. Not these crazy mass releases that cause so much trouble for BOTH Israelis and PA but an orderly businesslike and weekly release accelerating as talks reach their conclusion
35. #28 james once again
solomon ,   bklyn   (04.07.14)
your "American viewpoint" is in reality your own viewpoint. Nowhere do I read or hear in our media that the only way for America is to "go along with the international community” or “that the US will not attempt or block or prevent a BDS movement.“ You spout fairy tales derived from your own wishful thinking. Got to love that Abbass; he again proves that the arabs never miss and opportunity to miss an opportunity.
36. ha ha ... your economy is way worse than ours ... Arrogant ?
naftuli ,   jerusalem   (04.07.14)
USA arrogance knows no end... you think you have not robbed and pillaged the world. you consume over 60% of the world resources and expoit any country that will let you. ... please spare us your self love and your arogance ... We jews know who our enemies are and when people say want to kill us .... well we tend to believe them. USA christians for their love of the God of Israel help Israel ... not people like you.
37. Not Worth US Effort
Mark ben Josef ,   USA   (04.07.14)
If and when Israelis and Palestinians want to talk, Israelis and Palestinians can talk. The US presence is unneeded and scorned by both sides. The US has better things to do than be targets of right wing hate from Israelis and Palestinians. When both sides get tired of the dying and killing, maybe talking might make sense. Not before.
38. Unilateral Withdrawal Now (end)
Mordechai ,   Minneapolis, USA   (04.07.14)
39. #13 jersey, #21, #25 harold
solomon ,   bklyn   (04.07.14)
Yes, the arrogance of the arabs will have to be managed. It is arrogance to insist on everything they want, without any compromise whatsoever, while speaking of a judenrien country and [Hamas] insisting they will kill all the Jews. Oh but you aren’t interested in facts, are you? Oops.
40. # 30 are u kidding ?! Feiglin the drug-head and his Mafia-Clan behind..! G-d forbid !

41. Better with words than Qassam or Grads
(04.07.14)
42. When the talks fail, what is Israel's "plan 'B'"
spyguy ,   seattle usa   (04.07.14)
The REALITY is the status quo for the last 60+ years can NOT continue. The REALITY is the non-Jews living west of the Jordan River are NOT going anywhere and if Israel tries to remove them, the US will whack Israel hard along with the rest of the world. The REALITY is if Abbas fails at the UN, he will NOT stay in power. The REALITY is Abbas will NOT be replaced by a "moderate" leader but by Al Qaida trained fighters. The REALITY is the US will NOT defend Israel in the UN any longer (the US has been insulted enough). The REALITY is Obama is NOT going anywhere and there is an 60% chance he will be replaced by a democrat in 2016. The REALITY is the PLO will DISAPPEAR in the near future, replaced by an even worse organization. Israel has foolishly painted itself in to a very dangerous corner and alienated its ONLY friend. If you think you can do better on your own, you will be shocked when your delusions are shattered.
43. Sighhhh.....the NONSENSE is over !
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (04.07.14)
44. Like Christian #43 writes,
Robert Haymond ,   Teko'a, Israel   (04.07.14)
there is a sense of relief that these socalled "peace talks" are over because we, the Israeli citizenry, knew they were devised by a foreign party (USA) and had no meaningful reality attached. Now we are free to conduct ourselves as we see fit. There is a growing recognition that we should have annexed Judia (Yehuda) and Samaria (Shomrun) in the first place and, I expect, the movement towards this decisive act will increase in power.
45. #42 Spyguy is wrong
Brod ,   USA   (04.07.14)
Israel has existed since 4000 years ago and will continue to exist till the End Time. The Islamist-Jihadist marauders, usurpers and occupiers will be defeated in the battle field as well as in the Battle of Ideas. The Land of Israel belongs to the Children of Israel since ancient time longed before there were Islamist-Jihadists that sprouted in the Arabian Desert in the 7th century.
