1. what a meaningless article
(04.10.14)
you post one line from her interview then the rest is a repeat of old information.
2. She's the best.
David ,   Hartford USA   (04.10.14)
She has more common sense in her pinky than all the members of BDS combined. Maybe Oxfam, who has a large operation in the area, should ask the PA just where in heck all the billions of donated money has gone... Oops! That might hint at massive corruption on the part of the PA and a blind eye by Oxfam, and we can't say anything negative about the PA, can we? Scarlett 1, Oxfam 0. BDS = Blind, Dumb, and Stupid.
3. LIKED !
mary_of_Bethany ,   Singapore   (04.10.14)

10. Scarjo.. anti-Judiasm, anti-Zionism are two different things
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (04.10.14)
...like the chicken, and the egg, one is racism, the other, legitimate criticism. What came first is the real question. A Jew crying racism, as a cover for their own bad behavior, goes unchallenged in today's media culture.
11. Illegal under international law???
Jacob ,   Beer Sheva   (04.10.14)
The factory is in area C, which under the Oslo agreement is under full Israeli control. Signed by Arafat.

SheknowsWhatSheHears ,   Jerusalem Israel   (04.10.14)
I would like to a fly on the wall and listen to what all those who deny their is any racist anti Semitism involved out there have to say in private I think we all know what we would hear they are only fooling themselves and no one else but why waste our breath and time on them
13. giora
fred ,   USA   (04.10.14)
dumb and snippy remark. She hardly needs endorsement money since she is one of the most sought after stars...you merely show your own smallness.
14. Israel should hire Scarlett Johansen
Judah ,   Golan Heights,ISRAEL   (04.10.14)
She would be great for promoting travel to Israel,].
15. A lot of antisemitism out there
Zechariah   (04.10.14)
Saying there is a lot of antisemitism out there is a factual Statement that means that that the Jews ought be very Security Ready .Its not new .Many Eastern Europeans were Happy the Jews were exterminated but not all.In fact there is a Genocide Gene in every Race or at Least a Gene for Mass Murder and Expulsion. The Jews are Particularly Endangered and Need Prepare but World Wide Tribal hates personnel rivalries are Tremendous .
16. Scarlett is obviously correct
CJK   (04.10.14)
there is a lot of outright jew hared that has once again raised its ugly head in europe. hungary, finland, france, greece, ukraine, all have fascist parties and are part of parliment. jews cannot walk the streets in most european countries without being attacked physically. physical attacks occur even in the us, mostly by black youths. jew hatred often takes the form of hatred of israel. the far left refrains from actually attacing jews as such for ideological reasons but they are at the forefront of israel hatred while supporting totalitarian islamic practices.
17. There is no difference
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.10.14)
No matter how it is couched, anti-Zionism and anti-Israel sentiment is nothing more than good old-fashioned anti-Semitism. Instead of targeting individual Jews, however, the usual anti-Semitic flotsam and jetsam have targeted that most tangible symbol of the Jewish people -- the State of Israel. All the lemmings who screech "occupation" simply do not know what they are talking about. Judea and Samaria are nonsovereign territories which were reacquired by the State of Israel in the course of fighting a defensive war against Jordan. Under all known precepts of international law, the land is thus Israel's to settle, retain and even annex. It is not an "occupation" anymore than Poland "occupies" East Prussia and the Polish Corridor, France "occupies" Alsace and Lorraine, Croatia "occupies" Istria or the United States "occupies" 90 percent of the island of Okinawa. There are consequences to waging wars of aggression, and losing. Those consequences are rarely pleasant. The "Palestinians" could have had their state in 1947. They chose to go to war instead. They lost. They have started, and lost, five additional wars. Still, they have failed to mend the error of their ways. Well, you cannot put toothpaste back into the tube. It is likely that Israel will annex at a minimum the settlement blocs, and quite possibly all of Judea and Samaria. When that happens, the Arabs illegally squatting in Judea and Samaria will be repatriated to Jordan, country of their citizenship. They are not, after all, stateless. Jordan is the real "Palestinian" state in any event -- 90 percent of the population, under subjugation of a half-British, half-Iraqi king and his Kuwaiti bride. Jordan comprises seventy-seven percent of the land promised to the Jewish people. The Arabs can keep it -- and make it a "Palestinian" state. There is no need for still an additional independent "Palestinian" terrorist enclave.
18. #8, 9, are mine. I wholeheartedly approve the posts.
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (04.10.14)
19. Hollywood blackout on Israel continues, Jews afraid of truth
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (04.10.14)
8,9 not mine.
20. settlements not yet determined illegal u/ int'l law
UR ,   TLV   (04.10.14)
says who that settlements are illegal under int'l law? please, Yediot people, man. just because anti-Semites have succeeded in normalizing this WRONG argument technically under int'l law, that is not reason for you lot to parrot it out like it is true. it is not true. the question of settlement legality is complex and depends on many arguments which have yet to be determined to any jurisdictional point at which one could say that are illegal as stated by Ynet journos. please.
21. AS helps it go viral!!
UR   (04.10.14)
has anyone pointed out how the last thing SJ says about making it go viral has actually been achieved as a result of antisemitism of the BDS lot.
22. #6, because she desperately needs the money
Danny   (04.10.14)
23. Soda Stream should pay taxes to PA
Harri ,   EU   (04.10.14)
Maybe Soda Stream is ok, but Israel steals the tax money that Palestinian workers earn. The tax money earned by Palestinian workers should go to build hospitals and schools for Palestinians, just like the tax money earned by Israeli workers go to build hospitals and schools for Israelis.
24. Hollywood blackout on Islam continues, death Fatwa scares
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (04.11.14)
"Honor Diaries"
25. and Oxfam is supported by Kerry's wife!
mea   (04.11.14)
26. Harri #23
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (04.11.14)
Build hospitals and schools? Sufa Arafat would tell you to bite your tongue. Besides, the pals leaders are more interested in stuffing their own pockets with money than helping their people and their people only want to buy weapons to kill Jews. Nobody should give the PA anything.
27. To #22 danny she really needs the money
Rod ,   Fargo N.Dakota   (04.11.14)
She really needs the money,i think not ,me boy. From moviefones Johansson made her third successful appearance as Marvel's Black Widow. And she is a bigger star than Evans, with a longer track record. Just how big? Well, if you go by per-screen averages, she had the top two films of the weekend -- and "Winter Soldier" was only No. 2. No. 1 was Johansson's new sci-fi horror film "Under the Skin," which opened in just four theaters but earned an average of $35,000 in each of them. ("Winter Soldier," which opened in 3,938 venues, averaged $24,429.) The movie is about an alien temptress who lures human men to their doom, something Johansson proved during filming that she could do in real life, as the movie shows her picking up random non-actors who didn't know they were being filmed. These two movies are Johansson's third and fourth releases in the last six months. (She has a fifth movie, Jon Favreau's road comedy "Chef," opening a month from now, and a sixth, action thriller "Lucy," due in August.) Yet there's no sign that audiences are getting tired of her. Granted, no one actually saw her in "Her," a film in which she played the voice of an artificially intelligent computer operating system that has a bittersweet romance with user Joaquin Phoenix. Still, the movie earned $25.5 million in North America, pretty good for an independent movie with a weird premise, and surely better than the movie would have done if director Spike Jonze had kept his original leading lady, Samantha Morton. (Yes, Morton's an excellent actress, but she's not a box office draw, and her voice is certainly not as distinctive as Johansson's throaty rasp.) Before "Her" was last September's "Don Jon," another oddball romance that earned $24.5 million domestically, again, largely on the strength of Johansson's casting opposite star/director Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Again, it's not as likely that the film would have been such a hit at Sundance and broken the $20 million ceiling of the indie-film box office if it featured a lesser-appeal female lead.
28. #23 SodaStream employs 500 Pals
Benji ,   US   (04.12.14)
Say thank you. Israel pays tax money to the PA. They use it to pay salaries of PA government employees. The PA determines how this money is spent. Go complain to them.
29. #17 SARAH B....Apart from your views on African Refugees &
Anthony Fallon ,   Manchester UK   (04.13.14)
Civil Marriage (or lack of a system) in Israel, i find your talkbacks very impressive. If only Netanyahu could stick 2 fingers up at Kerry & Obama regarding annexing the major Jewish settlement blocks in Judah and Samaria, in a similar vein to Vladimir Putin's treatment of Obama & Co. two weeks ago regarding Crimea when the yankey doodles (or more accurately poodles) tried to intimidate Putin regarding International Law violations & threats of sanctions.
30. What is Abe Foxman paid for... why Mrs. Johanson, a one off
Miron ,   USA   (04.13.14)
kind of a person has to deal with all this.
