1. Israel and it's citizens have lost all their self respect
CHAIM.S 54ST ,   brooklyn ny   (04.13.14)
no wonder it has become the laughing stock and punching bag of the world
2. A promising lesson
Michael ,   Haifa   (04.13.14)
I hope that the same "monetary values" will convince Israelis of the advantages of peace, when the world will start boycotting us for our activities in the Occupied Territories.
3. Selfrespect obviously isn't our strongest suit (when money's
tom ,   tel aviv   (04.12.14)
involved) . Don't we have enough sun & empty calories in baklava at home? Maybe I'm wrong: shouldn't the less fortunate have a chance to feel like Big-shots & be pampered for (relative) peanuts?
4. Obscene.

5. Better places to escape Pessach
Haim ,   TA   (04.14.14)
6. To me: these Is. tourist to Turkey are traitors
barbara ,   Haifa Israel   (04.14.14)
HEDONISTS - the other 65,000 travelers that left the country yesterday (Sunday) for travel abroad for fun and escaping the drudgery of Passover.

Obviously not versed in a real academic discipline.
8. A week in a hotel? Not go outside?
Mark B. ,   Amsterdam / Holland   (04.14.14)
That's called a holiday? Souds more like a prison to me.
9. Another exodus but not to the promise land.
Rich ,   Toronto, Canada   (04.14.14)
10. #1
Eli ,   Haifa, Israel.   (04.15.14)
Jokes on the account of Americans are not unheard of.Look at yourself in the mirror and then critise others when you get some sense of proportions. I think you will find that people are pretty much the same all over the world.
11. Turkey
Ralph ,   Rishon   (04.15.14)
Maybe one of these years the Israeli Government, but even better the Israel Hotels Association, will finally realise what every sound minded Israeli citizen has known for the last 20 years. It is cheaper to go for a week in Turkey including flights and everything than take a 4 day holiday in Eilat, Tiberias, Netanya or Jerusalem.
12. Why give away your money to Turkey???
Anna M Sedda ,   Rome-Italy   (04.16.14)
It is good to take a festa trip for Passover, but to give your money to Turkey, the Beast,i rather not... Israel is a beauty of a contry and it is better to spend money at home, and support your fellows Jews...a bit. of self respect can only do good...even if i pay double,i always buy Israel....
13. Mikey, #2, Naturally you would sell out "your" country for $
Jake   (04.17.14)
Strange, that while borders are no longer considered sacred elsewhere in the world and are violated with impunity, you think Israel should be boycotted over a few square miles in the so-called "occupied territories". Your perfidy knows no bounds.
14. Torah says the Passover must be celebrated in Israel
Gilbert ,   LA   (04.19.14)
Unless you already live far off, every Israeli must celebrate Passover in Israel: "... at the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name in, there thou shalt sacrifice the passover at even" Dt. 16:6.
15. Celebrate Passover at home.
manicdrummer ,   Haifa, Israel   (04.19.14)
This is the Promised Land, not Turkey.
16. Cheap decision for a cheap price
Nora Tel Aviv   (04.20.14)
Erdogan spits on your face, and you say it`s raining ? Don`t you have a backbone?
17. Let them go to Turkey
Conroy ,   Toronto   (04.21.14)
Actually it doesn't bother me. I want what's best for Israel. Yes Erdogan is a weed but if you look at Israel's foreign trade stats country-by-country, you will see how beneficial it is for Israel to trade with Turkey. It strengthens Israel's economy; there's no getting around it. Add to that, it no doubt infuriates Israel's Muslim enemies like Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah to see such strong trade ties between Israel and Muslim Turkey. For Israel to shun this golden goose (turkey?) would be gifting them.
18. # 2 Jews shouldn't support Turks
BUILD BABY BUILD!!!!   (04.21.14)
who were responsible for trying to break the legal blockade on Gaza. Shame on them for spending Jewish money in Turkey. KEEP BUILDING !!!
