Palestinians will achieve a lot of paper victories to go along with the useless resolutions at the UN for their virtual state.

The official bancrupty of the UN who now starts to recognize a State without borders & a President without a mandate from his invented People and all this in the middle of a process to start to establish all this. It's about time for the ancient Kurds to follow the same path. The Swiss aren't even worth a comment. We all know who they are. Look & learn! Madness at work!

I read the following sentence in this article: "One aspect of the Geneva Conventions that has raised particular concern in Israel is the prohibition on colonizing occupied land". Well, Article 49, paragraph 6, of the Fourth Geneva Convention provides: "The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own population into the territory it occupies". Now dear readers, read carefully what follows, namely the application of the Convention to the Israeli case: "The 1949 Fourth Geneva Convention on the Protection of Civilian Persons" states in Common: Article 2: "the present Convention shall apply to all cases of declared war or any other armed conflict which may arise between two or more of the High Contracting Parties, even it the state of war is not recognized by one of them". The conditions of "armed conflict" between " two or more of the High Contracting Parties", as set forth in the article, are fulfilled in that there was a war between two signatories, Israel and Jordan. You read well, dear readers, ISRAEL AND JORDAN. From this text one has to deduce, that Israel occupies Jordanian territory and transfers its population into it. Right? And this is not the case! The so called West Bank and East Jerusalem were NEVER part of Jordan, but a RESIDUAL PART of the MANDATE FOR PALESTINE. A Mandate voted unanimously by all the 51 members of the League of Nations in 1922. A Mandate that gave legal power for the creation of the Jewish state, and gave the Jews the IRREVOCABLE RIGHT to settle between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River, including the Golan Heights. A decision that became International Law, guaranteed by the Anglo-American Treaty of 1924, that became Law of the State, and was reaffirmed by Article 80 of the United Nations Charter! Conclusion: the Fourth Geneva Convention is NOT applicable to Israel ! By the way, the initiative to introduce Article 80, was taken, with some other people, by Mr. Benzion Netanyahu, the PM's late father, but he, the actual PM , refuses obstinately to put Article 80 as well as all other legal documents concerning Israel's rights, on the table. And WHY?...
