Jews have been living in West for centuries, they are used to exporting knowledge from West to Israel. Whereas those Arabs just recently started opening up to world. Don't expect them to be on par with Jews but I believe if Gazans esp had their ways open to knowledge and schools they would start developing and advancing in a way I believe Jews don't want to see Arab success. Jews prefer to have Arabs live like sheep-herders so they can use same exact argument that Arabs are backwards etc. Jews do NOT like to see Arabs advance scientifically it brings up jealous and envious feeling of supremacy in them.

there were great Arab physicians and wise men in the Middle Ages, who gave a lot to the world. then came the great Arab desire to conquer everyone and everything, the islamic despicable treatment of women, the tyranny in most Arab lands, so please - you had your chances and blew them. Sure, there are clever Arabs, educated Arabs but they either live abroad or got educated abroad and returned to their native lands. With peole like Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Moslem Brotherhood and a host of others, you've a helluva long way to go before you can even reach the starting line. Did you know that Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jail can follow online university courses?
