There is no way this attack could be linked to anything other than an act of arab backed militant racism against people of the Jewish faith. This had nothing to do with land in Israel. The Liberty was a U.S. Navy ship being run by the CIA working against Israel. The fault for the Liberty incident was entirely with the U.S. Not the first time we have laid blame at someone else's feet. When the Battleship Main blew up in Havana harbor it was because of a coal dust explosion. That class of ship had a design problem and it wasn't the first in it's class to experience a coal dust explosion. We falsely accused Spain. In world war 1 we knowingly let the Lusitania sail carrying gun cotton and war goods to England. It was a passenger ship that wasn't allowed to carry such things.
