You can't expulse them. That is called ethnic cleansing. Israel is too small to carry out such a policy and avoid being completely isolated internationally. There is also the minor matter of morality. Would Israel truly be willing to be like it's tormenters over the ages? Be no better than those in Spain who expulsed the Jews there in 1493? Furthermore, would Israel truly be willing to violently remove those unwilling to stay? Again, it would be morally catastrophic for Israel. Is a bit of land truly worth all that? Violating basic rights of people, being morally in the wrong? God, I hope not. I hope Israel will remain better than that.

Quite. If the Paestinians can be expelled from the West Bank because their 'real' home is Jordan then Spain was justified in expelling the Jews because their 'real' home was Palestine. Native Americans would be justified in expelling the white population because their 'real' home is England, Scotland, Italy. Spain, Poland.....etc. And, of course, the descendents of Abraham should be returned to Ur.
