...opportunity to clear out hamas from every house or hiding at the strip, and do the same with other terror-groups inspired by the Islamic-cult-demagogy. It also gives free hands to remove the al aqsa, as it is a nest for terror, which will never be allows in Israel.
2. Does anyone think this is bad
James ,   USA   (04.22.14)
Despite comments to the contrary, administration of judea and Samaria should cost no more than the rest of Israel. This is simply a new tax base. All services in any country are managed via taxes. Welfare for the unemployed can be strictly limited and as in any country, don't pay your taxes, you lose your property. Any occupation issues were settled with Jordan after the war by treaty so the occupants have no legal standing other than Israeli law in the one state solution. If Israel wants to take it a step further, they can nationalize industry in these segments of land creating multiple benifits. In all, it amounts to pay your bills/taxes or out you go. These threats of isolation are garbage. Do they dare isolate a country with a military this powerful and risk a rouge nation?
3. Thsi is not so bad as it looks like
Oleg   (04.22.14)
Israel can't occupy it's own land. This nonsense is created by the so called civilized World. To make this a best solution and to make everybody happy Israel can buy (it does not have to do this) land that today is occupied by arabs with an obligation from them to move back where they have come from. That will be plenty for them to start their life in any other land, but Israel. This will save lives and return to Jews what was forcibly taken from them.
4. one state solution
zaneco ,   Belgium   (04.22.14)
The Best solution for the Phantom nation (Palestinian nation). This an opportunity for Israeli Arabs to become citizen of a democratic state, with elected representatives, a future for their children and perhaps the chance for muslims to make a big turn in history. Israeli arabs will show to other arab nations how to appreciate democraty more than Islam, emancipate the women and bring a bright future to all.
5. Disbanding the PA
Nadya ,   California, USA   (04.21.14)
Abbas do what's best for the Palestinian people. Don't allow the US to bully you. The US has been a dishonest broker from the beginning. Israel is it's #1 concern and the US knows Israel is going to be in a terrible position if you do this. Look at the reality for the Palestinian people and go forward.

7. Political position
James ,   USA   (04.22.14)
I missed one point in my earlier post. As this is not an editorial, Ynet should use caution expressing an official position when they use terms, expanding the occupation. Whether this is an occupation remans in the hands of the Israeli goverment, not the UN, the EU, NATO, the Arab league etc. As often said, you cannot occupy your own land. Putting an artificial fear into the citizenry is a dis service. Most of the world cares little about this local squabble that is years old. The ones who chant death to Israel are the only ones who keep it alive.

9. MK Gal-On seems Too enamored by PA
William ,   Israel   (04.22.14)
MK Gal-On is starting to think like the "Palestinians" now, with their illogical view of the world and unrealistic demands. Israel took care of the area before Oslo brought the PA in....which many Pallys are upset with Israel over since it brought the corrupt PLO and Arafat, and endless war, right into their homes without their consent. I don't see a problem with Israel doing the same again post-PA, especially since the same global aid can be earmarked and the obligations would be shouldered by Israel, Jordan, and the UN. One thing Gal-On hasn't considered....with the dissolution of the PA Abbas' requests to the UN become null and void...killing two birds with one stone. So, I say...Abbas, please don't let the door hit you in the ass as you head to Amman. But don't expect your ATM card to work anymore after you leave. That gravy train has reached the end of the line.
10. US Aid a Complete WASTE
Mark ben Josef ,   USA   (04.22.14)
US aid has anticipated the need for Palestinians institutions for statehood. But only the illusion of statehood is being discussed. Hence the loss of US aid is immaterial. Israel has no intent to allow any real statehood.

12. If he closes the PA responsibility reverts to the PLO
Eric ,   Tel Aviv & NYC   (04.22.14)
The PLO signed in Oslo and has responsibility, not Israel.
13. With all due respect...dont let anyone
Matilde   (04.22.14)
to be confused, Israel is not dismantling the Palestinian Autority, is Abbas idea! Europeans boycotts was also Abbas idea! If he was thinking to quit why he signed requests to join UN international organizations? Well, let me tell you this, peace talks will continue and you will reach a peace agreement!
14. PA walks away
vrsonti ,   Lawrenceburg IN USA   (04.22.14)
I think this is a golden opportunity for Israel to get rid of this Pal incubus. To heck with international disapproval. Israel has justice and weapons. Let Abbas go - and take his people with him to an Arab country who will admit these losers.

19. So the wise words of Abbas say
Sammy ,   Newcastle   (04.22.14)
Anytime I want..I can click my fingers and bring the whole Palestinian Dream tumbling down and walk away...just like that.... or is it as soon as Family Abbas have stashed enough Cash To comfortably and happily retire in the Gulf.....No Worries Who Cares Abbas isn't as stupid as he looks Mmm But neither are Palestinians

21. Solution Not Spoken
bigizz ,   USA   (04.22.14)
This article claims the PA dissolving would be a burden on Israel as it would have to create a civil organization to control and govern the West Bank. Why is it assumed Israel must inherent and govern the dismantled PA? Why doesn't the article give a positive solution..Egypt should take Gaza and Jordan take the West Bank back! It's mind boggling Israel sends truck loads of goods to Gaza everyday and has Rockets fired at her. Why doesn't Egypt support their Arab brothers and supply Gaza their needs? Why Arab neighboring countries absorb their Arab brothers ? They would blend together better than blending with people of the Jewish State of Israel. Got to ask yourself Why? All the best to the Jewish State of Israel. The Bigizz USA/ Israel
22. make our own threats of what we will do if he does dissolve
zionist forever   (04.22.14)
Considering Abbas is acting like an emperor right now joining the UN bodies, he has the Israeli left supporting all his threats and the fact even the US has caved into most his demands he is on a high and I cannot see him looking to give it al up. Israel should though counter the threat and say if he dissolves the PA then all work permits for palestinians working in Israel will be revoked so the general public will not let him dissolve the PA. We must be careful because if ge dissolves the PA the 2 state idea will be dead & buried and the world would support arab demands for a single binational state to replace Israel. We cannot say make Jordan the palestinians state because Jordan is an independent country and if they say no then its no and there will be no international pressure on them to take in the pals. Both side are playing a dangerous game right now and Abbas does have the upper hand. We must not under any circumstances let the nationalists call for a single state just so they can keep building as if its a drug. We cannot stay a Jewish state if we do, if we tried there would be riots, the mainstream left would support it and there would be international sanctions so we must not let ideology get in the way of logic but at the same time any deal with the pals must be based on Israel terms. Time to stop letting them making demands and start making threats of our own like threatening jobs because we need the people to tell their leaders not to be so arrogant

30. DISMANTLE PA
Les Pauls ,   Des Plaines   (04.23.14)
This should have been done 10 years ago!. Give the keys back to the occupier of Palestine and demand equal rights to every individual currently living in Palestine!! Failure to do so should result in worldwide boycotts, divestment and sanctions to the occupier's home country.
