No words to describe how UGLY are treated Holocaust Survivors who are still with us. And these Survivors who are no longer with us weren't almost treated at all. ISRAEL OWES its EXISTENCE to 6 Million Jews who were exterminated by Nazis and their collaborators. There is no MONEY in the world, that can compensate these survivors' sufferings during the WWII in Ghettos, in concentration Camps, in hiding. And how many of them then lived in poverty in Israel after the war ? Thousands and thousands. Israeli governments have always found excuses NOT to help the survivors. Today there is no difference. NO, it's not a shame, it's A CRIME !!! It's a CRIME against these survivors, against their children. There is no crime that is not being punished, one way or another. Israel's governments crimes will backfire one way or another.

Appalling that this is, it cannot be forgotten that all claimants for state aid is lucky to see NIS2,000 a month. I challenge any of the current government supporters to survive on that. The state pension is a joke, "income support" is a joke... although none of us now having to live on it aren't finding it one bit funny. And through all of this Nero Netanyahu plays the fiddle while we burn. If holocaust survivors can't make do on 3,000 shekels a month, how do the rest of us survive on a third less than that? Shame on the government that has brought things to this.

These ex Axis Powers nations now industrial wealthy giants should step in and subsidize Holocaust survivors. The reasons are obvious.

Why pay holocaust survivors the money they are owed if you can have smiling teenage soldier girls in tight clothing take pictures with them ?.. We are happy, we take picture, we have smily smily teenage soldier girl, end of story, everything is alright. Government bureaucrats can carry on stealing compensation money intended for survivors. The banana republic named ¨Israel¨ is the worst thing that could have happened to Judaism, and more and more people are realizing it.

It is totally irrelevant as to whether an elderly and infirm, poverty stricken pensioner is a survivor or otherwise. We as a society have a duty to tend to their needs. It should be regarded not only as a duty but as a privilege. There is no reason, economical or ethical, that Israel cannot and, in fact does not, treat and respect her elderly as in Scandinavia and Britain. Our leaders should be ashamed, but we, the people, should be more ashamed of our incapability to change things.

If Holocaust survivors can't make it on 3,000 sheckles a month how do they expect disabled people to survive on 2,000 sheckles a month? No one here can survive on less than 4,000 sheckles a month, considering the cost of living here, rents eat up a large amount of your money ,then taxes and food take care of the rest!

with the Iranians so they wouldn‘t have to payout any money to the edlerly. But they had to hold up on this idea because too many talented people are leaving the country. There are wealthy Jewish bankers with trillions of dollars who could write a check and all the Jewish elderly in the world could be cared for with no problem. But these people are selfish, ego-centric and could less about their fellow Jews.

Also Germany has to pay/to take care of these people, in order to come clean with it"s past. Israel, forever and always!

The Foundation for the Benefit of the Holocaust Victims in Israel states that more than 1000 survivors pass away EACH YEAR. It seems to me a mistake, and this figure relates apparently to the monthly number, because I heard today on the radio that 13,000 survivors leave us every year.

in Holocaust reparations. Ask where it has gone.

To my certain knowledge, this foundation disperse money to survivors, but only to those who applied through it to the German government for restitution, and found eligible to such or refunds.

Especially the corrupted ones.

Germany has paid dearly to compensate for the holocaust.
