1. IDF must start to be deadly against terror.
Beary White ,   Norway   (04.23.14)
Avoid jailed terrorists, blow up hamas/fatah apartments asap: One apartment per rocket/mortar or shell. It is obvious the pals do not want peace, ok, let'em get death..
2. In control,
Erin ,   USA   (04.23.14)
Let's watch and see what God can do
3. 2 Muslim terror organisations decide to join heads
CJK   (04.23.14)
now that the heads are joined, it will be easier to cut it off.
4. Obama, the bearer of many gifts
CJK   (04.23.14)
obama's extreme hostility to israel, israelis, has born this new fruit of the joining of these two muslim terror organisations. now at least we see fatah and the palestinian authority naked before us, as they are in reality, a group of terrorists without any positive accomplishments whatsoever. obama and the world can say goodbye to their obsession of a two-state solution. the arab palestinians never wanted a state, they always wanted to replace the jewish state of israel with an arab muslim terror state. they will never succeed.
5. Palestinians had their Chance
Zechariah   (04.24.14)
The Palestinians and other Islam had their chance from 1882 to form a Jewish Islamic Califate but they did not follow the Golden Age or the Salladin but the Fascist Dhimmi and even the Neonazi Mass Murder Path ..Fifty Million Jews and a Billion Islam Would have been a SuperPower Equal to Any .But they have chosen the Way of War which they Call Resistance and Psychomaniacal Destruction.
6. let the propaganda campaign begin
issam ,   USA   (04.23.14)
"Netanyahu slammed the agreement and said: "Abu Mazen (Abbas) could have chosen peace with Israel instead of peace with a murderous terror organization." who is he kidding? did he forget that he and his government have done everything possible to derail the peace process?
7. The calculus has changed. No more dualopoly
Memphis Slim ,   Memphis, TN - USA   (04.23.14)
Thank yoiu Mr. Abbas, for ending the charade that you actually wanted peace. You almost fooled the Israeli left, but now it is painfully clear to anyone - including Kerry and Obama - that this conflict will only be resolved when Israel defeats the Pals and annexs the territoriies they NEED to secure a defensiveable border. I would encourage those Pals in the West bank to consider the implications of where Mr. Abbas is taking them - and how much they have to lose if they don't hang him on a light pole before Hamas takes over the WB and they find a war literally in their backyard.
8.  Together
Jon ,   Uk   (04.23.14)
What does Ashton has to say about this unity
9. What other choice did he have?
Haider ,   Gothenburg, Sweden   (04.23.14)
There is no better choice than the Palestinians stand united.
10. Step One
James ,   USA   (04.23.14)
Gonna keep the next steps secret until needed. Step one is the division of Gaza between Egypt and Israel.
11. Which is worse?
Sam ,   PT   (04.23.14)
Instead of using the IDF to secure the state against its Arab enemies, the government uses the IDF to destroy Jewish homes. So which is worse? Abbas making peace with Hamas or Jewish homes being destroyed by the Israeli government?
12. All my predictions collapsed. No Obama 1967 UNSC vote,no ICC
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (04.23.14)
13. Erin # 2
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (04.23.14)
Yes, all those that stand against Israel are in for a rough ride.
14. A number of such pledges have been reached during the past
N.L.Katz ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (04.23.14)
20 years, only to have collapsed. But, more importantly, such an outcome will only prevent any accommodation of peaceful coexistence between Arab and Jew, between the Muslim-Arab world and the liberal democratic and sovereign nation-state of the Jewish, i.e. the State of Israel. The reason is fairly simple: Israel, rightly, would have nothing to do with any coalition of organizations whose members refuse to adhere to that which the international community has demanded, it being the UN, US, EU and Russia: 1) Accept Israel's right to be, to exist as the sovereign nation-state of the Jewish people 2) Cease all acts of violence and terror against Israel and Israelis and decommission all illicit weapons, including explosives, mortars, rockets, etc. 3) Adhere to agreements reached with Israel and signed by the parties Only when these simple expectations of the international community, including Israel, are met will Israel be willing to deal with such a coalition of organizations, not before.
15. TWO STATES... HAMASTAN AN ABBASTAN
stude ham   (04.23.14)
16. Devided Palestinians
Harold ,   USA   (04.23.14)
Netanyahu wants to see brothers and sisters devided so can dance the Cha Cha Cha and keep the ME conflict unresolved.
17. @ 4 Are you serious?
sheik rattle & roll ,   USA   (04.23.14)
Obama & Kerry attempted to get Israel & the Palestinians to come to some type of mutually agreeable terms for peace and failed. Abbas is an idiot for trying to reconcile with Hamas a world recognized terrorist organization, however to blame Obama just shows your anti-American/racist against black American true face. By the way Obama will cut off aid to the Palestinians, but will never deny aid to Israel of any aid regardless of anti-American sentiment in Israel. If trying to get too sides to come to peace terms is a bad idea just look at what the Palestinians just did.
18. Will it be aid as usual?
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (04.23.14)
As far as I'm aware,Hamas is on the terrorist lists of both the US and EU and can receive aid from neither. As an EU tax-payer I certainly hope, and expect, that a unity Fatah-Hamas 'government ' will immediately become ineligible for EU aid. If you ask me,the real reason for this is that Abbas is desperate to hold onto power and is looking for a new excuse to remain an unelected tyrant for another 6 months. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
19. Meretz's Galon, talking nonsense as usual
CJK   (04.23.14)
the far left cannot grasp the simple concept that the so-called arab palestinians do not want to accept any jewish sovereignty in any part of the land of israel. galon and her meretz party refuse to acknowledge that hamas, an arm of the terrorist muslim brotherhood, wants to destroy the jewish state of israel and murder its jewish population. one is reminded of the communists who had made a pact with the leader of the third reich.
20. Stop the money flow to Israel
Jon ,   USA   (04.24.14)
If Israel is so mighty and right, let it give up the American money. We are tired of supporting a fascist Government.
21. Like the Iranians?
Jon ,   USA   (04.24.14)
22. Israel chose land grab over peace.
Rau   (04.24.14)
23. Boy, that Gal-on is real loser...who knows better than me ?
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (04.24.14)
24. Peace impossible with Hamas but was impossible with PA too.
Sam ,   Canada   (04.24.14)
If Hamas and PA ever decide to make peace together with Israel, it will be more meaningful than the PA or Hamas alone. As is, making peace with the PA alone is sheer stupidity.
25. #17 is everything always black and white with you?
Jerome ,   Basalt, Colorado   (04.24.14)
No wonder you still think highly of Obama! His policies suck not because he is half black, they suck cause they suck!
26. Unity does not contradict peace talks
barney rubble ,   narnia   (04.24.14)
is Bibi not happen to negotiate with a PA including Hamas then ? why not ? the PA has to negotiate with an Israeli government including Naftali Bennett and Danny Danon and others who reject Palestine's right to exist.
27. Hamas and Islamic Jihad
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.24.14)
These are both terrorist organizations, and recognized as such by the civilized world. For that matter, so is Fatah and every other organization under the PLO umbrella. Time to end this charade. Annex Judea and Samaria, retake Gaza -- which will earn us quite a few points with Egypt -- and send all the "Palestinians" to Jordan. Jordan is, after all, a "Palestinian" state. Abdullah will handle them with considerably less in the way of kid gloves. He'll do exactly what his father did. And the best part? The international community, which loves putting Israel under a microscope, is going to turn a blind eye. The best way to handle the issues with the "Palestinian" terrorist rabble is to make them someone else's problem.
