The government collects taxes from the people to give the people service. Instead of understanding his job as a servant of the people, Lapid acts like a two-bit Kim Il Jung, collecting taxes but refusing to give services in return, no more than a despicable form of theft. As long as in Israel there is no rule of law, any corrupt minister like Lapid can decide to suspend services to taxpayers just because it is politically expedient for himself. Gay parents should have the same surrogacy rights as everyone else and Bennett is wrong discriminate against gay people. Settlement construction is critical to achieving peace and Lapid is wrong to discriminate against the settlers.
