1. When will Bennett finally wake up
Sam ,   PT   (04.30.14)
and realize that Lapid is no friend of his but hates his settlers hundred times more than he hates haredim?
2. Children have unalienable right to both biological parents

3. #1 Sam: So the Settlers must get EVERYTHING they want?
Jim Yakamoto ,   My Country   (04.30.14)
I suppose you think that Israeli kids should live under the bread line and that the elderly should just fade away. Yes, the Settlers have rights but no more than the rest of us. The rest of us don't spit on our soldiers and attack them! If you love the "Settlers" so much why don't you live there instead of cushy PT which to me looks like Petah Tikva?
4. Easier to replace Lapid than the settlers.
BUILD BABY BUILD!!!!   (04.30.14)
Those settlers are there to stay those who try and harm them will be replaced and forgotten while Israel GROWS!!! KEEP BUILDING JEWISH HOMES !!!!
5. problem is not Lapid
(04.30.14)
The government collects taxes from the people to give the people service. Instead of understanding his job as a servant of the people, Lapid acts like a two-bit Kim Il Jung, collecting taxes but refusing to give services in return, no more than a despicable form of theft. As long as in Israel there is no rule of law, any corrupt minister like Lapid can decide to suspend services to taxpayers just because it is politically expedient for himself. Sadly, Netanyahu doesn't have what it takes to fire Lapid.
6. Well done Mr Lapid
Nancy   (04.30.14)
While the government pours money in to the settlements so the right-wing fascists can live in their fancy villas, they ignore young couples who live in the center. No wonder so many people are leaving for a better life else where.
7. Good job! Spend the money on Negev settlement.
Michael ,   California, USA   (04.30.14)
The West Bank is a huge money drain on Israeli economy. Did anyone compute the return on investment (ROI) in settling the West Bank? My guess the ROI is less than ten percent. More than ninety percent of the money is wasted.
8. Choice of words!!!!!
Col ,   Raanana   (04.30.14)
Ynet, Ynet, I'm surprised at you. Could you not think of anything better to call two people of the same sex who live together that "queer couples"??? Does you vocabulary not stretch further thant that???
9. WTG!
A Jerusalemite ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (04.30.14)
Lapid is right! Transparency in distributing government funds is of utmost importance.
10. To Jim Yakamoto
Gramma ,   israel   (04.30.14)
I don't want to be rude, but you don't know what you are talking about! This has nothing to do with taking anything away from the elderly or the poor. And the 'Settlers' children ARE the soldiers! Why would they spit on them? You are really confused.
11. Good, good, good
gp ,   tel aviv   (04.30.14)
With so much of the funding money going into iffy haredi hands and projects, Lapid is absolutely right to get tough. Just one word to YNet, who haven't checked their translation. Nobody calls homosexuals "queers" anymore. The support for Bennet is nothing if not naive and blinkered. What has he done so far within his portfolio, let alone for the good of the country as a whole... except polemical rhetoric?
12. This is Stupid
Ami ,   Tel Aviv   (05.01.14)
Gay parents should have the same surrogacy rights as everyone else and Bennett is wrong discriminate against gay people. Settlement construction is critical to achieving peace and Lapid is wrong to discriminate against the settlers.
