Its probably Tzipi Livni's last term in the Knesset, and rightly so. She has proven to be a post-Zionist who forgot why the State of Israel was established. The State of Israel will always be the Jewish state, and its time to fix it in Israel's constitution.

livni is a confused, very fearful person who allows herself to be bullied by foreign interests. israel's decration of independence makes it crystal clear that the founders declared the indipendence of a jewish state. anyone who denies the fact that israel is a jewish state, also denies jewish historical, religious, spiritual and political ties to the land of israel. anyone who denies the fact that israel is a jewish state denies its very essence and reason for existence. such people adopt the narrative of the arabs and muslims who precisely deny jewish historical ties to the land of israel, including the existence of the jewish temples.

Compare Naftalie Bennett to leftist M.K.s. Bennett has achieved extraordinary success as a high tech entrepreneur and as a politician. Having Bennett in the Knesset is having a strong patriot with the proven world sense of a Bill Gates or Warren Buffet. Abbas has made it clear he will never make peace as long as Israel exists. The demographic trends are in Israels favor so there is no reason to assume Israel will lose its Jewish majority with Judea and Samaria. That risk ended with the withdrawal from Gaza. Most of the Gulf Arab states have non Arab/Non Muslim majorities. The world has no problem with the government remaining in Arab Muslim hands in any of those countries. Perhaps the Israeli left should stop promoting immigration of non Jews from Africa and Russia if they are so concerned about democraphy however.

The post zionism liberals who like to consider themselves progressive looking are just uncomfortable with the idea of a JEWISH state, all sounds very apartheid an non politically correct so they want religion & state to make complete break. They want a modern politically correct, peace loving country that doesn't favour any group. The liberal left like Herzog, Livni and that mad woman Zehavia Gal-On all want to see an end to the Jewish state concept but they have been held back by their bigger priority which is the peace process. Once they create a palestinians state we can be 100% certain the next battleground will be the Jewish state idea itself with the arab world, the Israeli arabs and the liberals demanding the world put pressure on Israel to drop this Jewish state identity create a kinder more PC and welcoming Israel. The only way to protect the country from the reformers is to enshrine the Jewish state idea into Basic Law before these liberal ideas spread.
