Russia & China have had no encounters yet with the F35 so they cannot claim that they can detect it although if they cannot get round the stealth now it won't take them long once the F35 starts coming into service with a number of countries. The US does not export the same version they have, the export version has dumbed down stealth capability The reason Israel wanted to be able to instal its own systems was because the IAF believed that the stealth would be beat within about 10 years so they wanted their own electronics onboard as well so there would always be some edge.

But Iran will have the capacity to pick on the ability to detect it................are we betting against it?

The Iranians won't even know that they what attacks them *after* they have been attacked.

using television signals, it really isn't a big secret. Why the Chinese embassy in Belgrade was bombed and Cruise missiles in the first wave of any attack take out the tv transmitters. Wouldn't worry about it, just means that Israel will need a stock of cruise missiles
6. no. 2 - it worked well for Qazvin facility bombed this week

7. #5, you mean America cannot protect Japan, Taiwan, S. Korea?

Do we have enough cruise missiles for all TV antennas in China? All your nonsense is just that.
8. #2 - Iran and China are sharing technology
spyguy ,   seattle USA   (05.09.14)
China reverse engineered the Russian S-300 system, then vastly improved it so that it is equivalent to the Russian S-400 & S-500 systems (HQ-9/HQ-15/FD-2000). This technology was shared with Iran. Iran has made further improvements and transferred those back to China. Both China and Iran are DANGEROUS places for any attacking aircraft.

F35 is an ugly duck USA is forcing others to buy to defray overrun cost development. many present updated fighters can do as well or better at a fraction of cost. other countries are cutting orders. F35 will prove one size does not fit all. resources should be spent on drones.

radar. The US isn't going to go to war with russian and china! Never have never will!! It should cruise through iranain airspace with a great amount of ease. Thats all i want anyway so go bond them, when the time is right of course:-)

How well did Iran's super-duper incredibly sophisticated detection capabilities work at Qazvin? Yes, I'm betting against it.

Except Qazvin. Or do you seriously think that a couple of Mossad agents slipped in and placed explosives at key locations? It was an aerial assault, Israel did it, and Israeli jets weren't detected entering or leaving Iranian airspace. Poor old Iran. Not only are they humiliated, but they cannot do anything about it. What, and admit to the existence of a top secret nuclear facility whose existence they have always strenuously denied? Qazvin's still burning, by the way. Iran, China and Russia -- back to the drawing board for them!
14. #7 - Actually, in fact, the US can NOT protect
spyguy ,   seattle usa   (05.09.14)
any country in Asia from China. US Carriers can not get within 1000 miles of China without getting sunk by China's DF-21D hypersonic "carrier Killer" for which the US military has no defense. The aircraft on the carriers do not have much combat range when they have to fly over 2000 miles just to reach China and return to the ship. Also, China has re-engineered the S-300 system (HQ-9/HQ-10/HQ15/FD-2000) to make it more deadly and more accurate. All US aircraft are vulnerable near China.

Ehud Barak helped the Obama regime force the F-35 on Israel, and now he has retired with a tidy sum.

I'm sorry, but the Seventh Fleet is already berthed well within your imaginary 1,000 mile "limit." It is, in the event you haven't heard, on permanent forward deploy based in Yokosuka, Japan, with carriers, destroyers and battleships even closer to China, at the port of Busan in South Korea. Sorry to burst your bubble, but there you have it. 2,000 miles just to reach China? Oh, you are funny! Not to mention incredibly stupid!
