31. If all countries took attitude of not competing when lost
(05.09.14)
There might be only a handful of countries in it. Israel has a proud record in eurovision and shouldn't be so mean spirited or paranoid about competing. If Israel wants to be ounch its way in the world artistically commercially culturally and even politically it should not be narrow minded. Other european countries have lost many more times than Israel and still compete every year. Competing is about that first and foremost and winning thereafter. If the arab countries want to turn it into a political showcase Israel doesn't have to do likewise or make it any easier, which would spoil the competition.
32. Silly Lyrics
(05.09.14)
Clearly the judges didnt understand the song enough. As for all the other bar two were english sung entries which is the trend.
33. Israeli entry to eurovision
Shalom ,   London,England   (05.09.14)
Unfortunately I believe the entry just wasn't strong enough..... I am a very loyal Israel supporter, but how can you expect Europeans to vote for something that quite honestly wasn't amazing !! Not a song to hum along to, and not a catchy rhythm.............. Israel can do a lot better. Sorry guys
34. Israel never quits!
Mark ,   Jerusalem   (05.11.14)
Don't give an opening for the Arabs. Just choose the right song and the right gimmick next time. How about a song in sign language.
35. Nex time we'll send Siamese Twins if we have to!
tom ,   tel aviv   (05.11.14)
36. Israel must be trained....in music
Ethnix   (05.11.14)
Music is passion! Next time more rhythm please! Watch in youtube Puerto Rico singer Chayanne with the song "Salome". First impression on stage really matters! Can you imagine those dancers dressed like haredims and Mei singing with a military outfit? No politics!!! Great!!!
37. Oh forget it, was a silly idea
Ethnix   (05.11.14)
Do whatever you want
38. role model to #19
Dik ,   Spijkenisse   (05.11.14)
neither would it be for our Dutch girls. Cannot understand this awful Austrian performer wins. Shalom from Holland
39. Good voice, but . ..
Akiva ,   NYC   (05.11.14)
She has a good voice, but limited lyrics, too much eye makeup and too much flesh uncovered. Certainly better than Dana International who seemed to have only one word.
40. euro messup it should be the song not the singer
sam del pattuco ,   gibraltar   (05.12.14)
If only he looked within it would be better.israel has not looked for representation with jewish values once they sent a transvestite then two yrs in a row songs with homosexual undertones and this year a half naked tattooed vixen. ...so how about something more heimishe it could work well and win
41. Perspective
Shaly   (05.12.14)
Austria winner in eurovision = the political group Women of the Wall
42. @40
Ethnix   (05.12.14)
Ps: israel should not invite Roger, the pink floyd guy, well is just a comment aside,
43. PLEASE DON'T QUIT.....
les ,   canada   (05.12.14)
just get a bigger weirdo, with longer hair, MUCH bigger beard, and a much bigger set of (false) boobs. and there it is: the next eurovision champion freak. :))
44. @40
Ethnix   (05.12.14)
Great idea Sam!!! The best one for that is Koby Perez, and in a duet with Ishtar Alabina!!!! It could be amazing concert for peace, and who knows? Maybe could be helpfull for Israel & Palestinians peace process too. Now that Israel is renewing friendship with Turkey we can invite Tarkan to the event, and a great Haredi voice is Elbaz, i really love his song Hashem Malah !!! Cheers from Jerusalem
45. Send in a performer with a guitar & their voice, it will
Rodger X   (05.14.14)
shock everyone & win. Israel keeps trying to one up itself with the shlock that passes for music today. We need someone fresh with a fresh soft voice to go against all the noise.
46. No. 40
NYC Girl   (05.27.14)
Dana International's win actually portrayed Israel in a positive light. It showed that, for the most part, Israelis are enlightened and accepting of peoples' differences, and not a bunch of judgmental fanatics....like so many of their neighbors. Also Dana is not a transvestite.....she's transgendered. Big difference.
47. Where is the talent?
TalentTVShow   (06.17.14)
We need talent shows. Are there any one on Israeli tv? The street will produce better singers and dancers than the current promoters.
