Just where has Khaled Titi been? He seems never to have heard of Arab terrorism. Or is he perhaps suggesting that Israel should take no precautions against it? If he were really interesting in improving that lot of Israel's Arab population, he could start by denouncing terrorism. A sign that he's not is his not making any distinction here between Arabs in Israel and Arabs in the West Bank. This is the old Jews have no right to live in Israel line--no change in 60 yrs.. Apartheid as defined, is essentially prejudice and segregation against a person or persons who live in the same COUNTRY. At the moment the west bank does not qualify as Israel Proper. Legitimately this word apartheid is thrown around way to often and incorrectly.

The Palestinians and Jews want to be separate and have signed agreements formalising this separation. The first is the Islamic method: Muslim countries do not have to wrest with the moral issues of ruling over Jews and then risk being branded "apartheid". They simply evicted the Jews and took all their property. Since Titi is Muslim, I imagine he supports this method. Another approach is Lieberman's, that borders are redrawn so that all Arabs become part of an ethnically pure Arab state and Jews live in a Jewish state.
