She served as Deputy Mayor of Jerusalem and experience as head of state because she was in charged of the Presidency until Peres became the President. Seven million of the rest of us are denied a voice in electing this position. We, the public, also do not elect democratically the Prime Minister. We are denied that, as well. I prefer a representative king over Israel. A king who represents the True King and Torah values. A king who fears God and abides by His laws. He will rule for seven years but may be re-chosen by the will of the people.
