1. If Golan Druze want to be Syrians ....
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (05.22.14)
... then they should be repatriated to Syria forthwith. Especially with the Syrian bloodbath inching ever closer to Israel's border. We do not need the risk of security breaches; send them all to Syria. What better place for Syrians to be?
2. So, your Syrian?
BUILD BABY BUILD !!!   (05.22.14)
Then return home to Syria and vote to better Syria. If you dare. No wonder every tom Dick and Mohammed wants to live in Israel... beats the shit out of any arab shitty nation. BUSILY REBUILDING ISRAEL FOR HER HOMECOMING JEWS Yea BABY!!!!!!!

That is the right and correct solution, for those "islam"-"druze" population, to "islam"-Syria and to the rest of the present, entire "islam"- world. Let them pay for that single/one way trip, first. For example, also, Israel, forever, ever and always. May G.d bless Israel, too!
4. re 1, they are already in Syria

it's a little farfetched to call assad "righteous", and despite the rhetoric that the rebels are just a "zionist plot" (yeah, right!), realistically he is the better choice for israel, because he values his own survival above the rhetoric of the jihadis. only the dhimmi-in-chief could rationalize supporting yet another al-qaeda franchise in the middle east.

Oh, dear, you're a bit behind the times, I'm afraid. Israel formally annexed the Golan Heights in 1981. The Golan Heights are a part of Israel and will be, forever. If you have a problem with that -- well, too bad. Into each life, a little rain must fall.

CORRECTION Golan = Israel It was bart of biblical Judea It was supposed to go to Israel under the League of Nations mandate for Palestine but they ILLEGALLY traded it to France who controlled the Iraqi province of Mousal where BP had found oil. Frace had the mandate to create Syria and Lebanon so the British who controlled the other Iraqi provinces traded the Golan to France who had a mandate to create Syria and Lebanon. Syria illegally controlled the Golan for 21 years it was liberated by Israel 47 years ago. THE GOLAN IS AND WILL REMAIN PART OF ISRAEL FOREVER
10. the fifth column have nothing to worry about
zionist forever   (05.22.14)
This Druze fifth column who should leave Israel and go to their beloved Syria don't have to worry about the election Assad will win without any problems. Eventually Assad will loose his throne, officially it will go to the self appointed leader of the FSA but there will be tribal wars, and terror groups all fighting each other for the country rather than leave it in the hands of some weak regime which obviously don't care the best interest of the Syrian people at because its backed by the zionist loving great saten America.

The Golan is now in Israel's possession and will remain that way. Whoever controls the Golan can use it to fire rockets into enemy territory.

I'm afraid not. Israel annexed the Golan Heights in 1981. Do you see Syria poised to try and take it back? If that happens, Israel will roll over Syria clear to Aleppo. And what's more, Syria knows it. Everyone knows it. Syria cannot have forgotten the severe beating it took at the hands of Israel in 1982 -- Hafez Assad developed an impression that the Syrian Air Force was stronger than the Israeli Air Force. Eighty-two downed Syrian MiGs later, Assad got schooled. The best part? Half of the MiGs that were shot down were piloted by Russians. That's why Assad had a false sense of superiority to begin with. Except that Israel toyed with those Russian pilots like a man playing with incompetent boys. Eighty-two MiGs, shot down just like that. No Israeli losses. Remember in 2007, when Israel decided that Syria should not be a nuclear power, and destroyed the North Korean-built reactor at Deir ez-Zor? The Syrians never saw us coming, and were powerless to stop us in any event. Israel owns Syrian air space. And don't you ever forget it. But we certainly do not wish to keep people in Israel against their will. If the Golan Druze see themselves as Syrian, we will send them there. Forever. But "forever" is a very short time in Syria, these days ....
13. South Syria
marian ,   Romania   (05.23.14)
The evolution of the military situation in South Syria could head to a total loss of control. Hence the invitation for Israel to create a buffer state in the area, using IDF brigade with strong, numerous Druze component. It could become imperative.
14. There goes the loyal druze myth
Peter ,   Jerusalem   (05.23.14)
Druze are just arabs who follow a different branch of Islam, one amongst dozens. Both Israeli and druze have been brainwashed to believe the druze are somehow different, not "arab" the least, but few ever bought it.

Extremely bad idea. Israel is not going to become responsible for keeping the peace in Syria -- a daunting task, to say the least. Israel will look out for its own interests, of course -- that is, after all, what nations do. But we are not going to police Syria for the world. We've had to clean up enough of the world's messes and, quite frankly, we're not interested in doing the international community's work for it.

For a change I agree with you. I could go on about how you are a narrow minded bigot most of the time, but that would be a personal attack. No doubt you will come back with a clever line calling me baldy, like you did last time. I decided then your rhetoric was beneath me and not worth answering, but I do agree with you on Syria. The fact is that their so called army and air force can't stop the insurgency of a group of Jihadists or whatever they are called. When I see them yelling Allah Akbar every two seconds as the charge and sometimes defeat the Syrian forces, I realize how inept both sides are. Israel must stay strong, but need not worry about the efficiency of the Syrians. That much is obvious. Shabbat Shalom Machar. Ha Scottie im Hakarachat.

Thats an imaginary story your spreading only spread by zionists who do not have real history on their side, so they have to falsify history.

I mean a buffer independent Druze state, strea\tching from lebannon to Daraa or even Suwayda, to totaly separate Israeli Golan Hights from Syria.
