1. No. The Best Thing To Do Is......
Reuven Brauner ,   Raanana, Israel   (05.23.14)
annex all these lands into the State. All residents become citizens with equal responsibilities and obligations. They all pay taxes and do the army. Ultimately, the Arabs will feel that this is not their country, and those who do not want to participate in the Jewish enterprise will simply find opportunities in Europe or other Arab countries. The idea of a Palestinian State or autonomous region must cease. It is unworkable and counter-productive. We CAN live in peace in ONE country.

What argument or reason can you use with racist idiot stating that occupation and ruling other people is good for them? ,...
3. Steve Klein - 'Jewish residents of Gaza',...
split ,   US   (05.23.14)
According to international law they were illegal settlers of occupying force, not residents ,...
4. "Palestinian" statehood
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (05.23.14)
Unilateral disengagement by Israel is a waking nightmare for the "Palestinians." It's one thing to have a state. It's quite another thing to actually have one that functions. The "Palestine" Authority does not function. Keep in mind, everyone, that Israel provides them with everything -- including jobs. Disengagement would mean: 1. No more free Israeli medical care. 2. No more tax revenues from Israel. 3. No more well-paying jobs in Israel for between 65,000 and 100,000 "Palestinians" from Judea and Samaria. 4. No more free electricity from Israel. 5. No more free fresh water from Israel. 6. No more market for "Palestinian" products in Israel. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. The REALLY big thing: no more payouts from the UNRWA. The "Palestinians" realize that without their constant presence in the international news, they'd be completely ignored. Just another failed, forgotten fifth-world "independent state." The stuff of which "Palestinian" nightmares are made. Sweet dreams, guys!
5. Hasn't Bibi learned anything
TIME TO REPLACE ,   BIBI   (05.23.14)
from the cruel expulsion of his own brothers? Hasn't he seen the suffering of Sharon and the punishments the others got. How dare he expel Jews again or even talk about it.
6. Pali peace with Israel means giving up GREATER PALESTINE
Yoni   (05.23.14)
That's why Arafat, Abbas, and every other Pali leader will NEVER make peace with a recognition of Israel's Jewish right to exist. At most if someone can stomach it in the future they might make a "peace" till they think they can overrun us.
7. Why doesn't King Bibi the Weak unilateraly
A ,   Belgium   (05.23.14)
repatriate the illegal Jordanian squatters to their own country already and begin annexation of Judea and Samaria. Peace talks are dead, he doesn't have to be afraid of Kerry or Oblabla anymore.
8. Those supporting Bibi are "leftist fools".
Israeli 2   (05.23.14)
He will be adding another Hamastan to the east of Israel if he withdraws any inch from the so called west bank. Besides...is Bibi advocating the creation of another independent Arab entity who is unstable and belligerent towards Israel? A new Palestinian entity would make certain that Israel will be rained with rockets so that Israel will have to occupy them again. He should simply annex everything and work on sending these Arab trespassers to Jordan or Syria. To all talk-backers: I see only stupidity ruling Israel. Sorry. Shabat Shalom
9. THE GREAT BIBI!
Iranian Jew ,   LA USA   (05.23.14)
We have no choice but to disengage. Since the short king of JORDAN and his Suadi master are too chicken to live up too the responsibility and the mess that they have created. Israel has no choice and break it off. Let's see how Abu Mazen is going to control his little kingdom. My guess is that Ham Ass will crush him and then Israel will have to take over again and send Ham Ass packing back to Gaza.
10. Slicing the Palestinian Baloney Status Quo
Jersey Jew ,   New Jersey, USA   (05.23.14)
Nothing new here. We have militarily, economically & diplomatically occupied our Greater Israel for decades while slowly taking slivers of it with no end in sight. Not consistent with Judaic or American Values, but clearly continues to work well in the short terms if measured in Earthly terms. Sorry, not smart ....
11. This proves Bibi is insane. Likud: Replace him NOW!
Chaim ,   Israel   (05.23.14)
Israel consistently votes for a patriotic government, but we may as well have a Meretz P.M. as Bibi. His proposal to give much of our tiny land to our mortal "Palestinian" foes proves Bibi is insane. Likud: Replace Bibi NOW!
12. Unilateral will lead to "Gaza II"
Levi Shimon   (05.23.14)
Israel must reach out to Saudi Arabia and Hamas to succeed at a real peace. Otherwise you will have rockets hitting Tel Aviv. Israel needs peace for its economy to flourish. Israel must choose: its economy or the settlements of Gush Etzion.
13. Unilateral disengagement of Israelwith Yahoo first.
Miron ,   USA   (05.23.14)
Ierushalaim is indivisible. It's an important text to anyone who wants to enjoy their bank accounts to remember. Or they can take it to Yigal Amir's cell for a quick 101.
14. 100% withdrawal from West Bank must happen or Obama UNSC '67
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (05.23.14)
...borders, and NATO security, will be imposed on Israel. This will become a new starting point for negotiations, right of return, war reparations, 2 States, or 1 Country, or both, a Federal and State government, much like the United States.
15. Two most realistic options to unilateral action by Israel:
N.L.Katz ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (05.23.14)
1) Annexing the entire territory located between the Jordan River and the Med. Sea to be part and parcel of the liberal democratic and sovereign nation-state of the Jewish people, the State of Israel. 2) Annexing Area C of Samaria, Judea and the Jordan Valley to be part and parcel of the liberal democratic and sovereign nation-state of the Jewish people, while leaving Area A and Area B as an option to be implemented at a future date. Both options are fully grounded in the fundamental elements of international law designed to bring about an accommodation of peaceful coexistence between Arab and Jew, between the State of Israel and the Muslim-Arab world, local and regional alike, i..e San Remo conference decisions, 1920; League of Nations decisions, 1922; UN Charter, article 80, 1945; and UN Security Council Resolution, 242, 1967.
16. Unilateral is retreat
Brod ,   USA   (05.23.14)
Why be manipulated by Leftist Lunacy of retreat? It is time for Israel to slow down from giving its enemies further incentives in destroying Israel by way of deceptions and external manipulations and pressures. Israel should be guided by its Holy Book the GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob instead of the Baal worshippers of secularism that are pushing Israel to becoming dhimmis and banana republic. Israel should stand strong in confronting anti-Israel forces from within and without. Israel will be more respected and feared by its enemies when it is strong and when it stands on its Biblical Foundation.
17. ANNEX area C and all settlement blocks
CJK   (05.23.14)
we have had enough of arab intransigence and manipulations. we have had enough of obama and european hostility. israel must do what is necessary for her own national security, not what pleases foreigners.
18. To spite Obama, any UNSC against Israel, vetoed by Putin
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (05.24.14)
19. no. 14 - Obama is irrelevant, all in the world spit on him.
(05.24.14)
20. #12. Judea/Samaria make Israel viable.
Chaim ,   Israel   (05.24.14)
The only sane choice for Israeli survival is annexing our 4,000 year old ancestral heartland of Judea and Samaria. It is obvious to any child, who can read a map, that Judea and Samaria make Israel viable. Leftist dimwits, like you, don't understand you need to survive to have an economy!
21. 100% Arab withdrawal from W. Bank must happen or Putin veto
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (05.24.14)
22. Sarah B @ #4:
Israeli 2   (05.24.14)
I hate to disagree with you. Look what Israel is doing for Hamas?!!! They will do the same here with this new uncalled for entity. At least now they are controlled. Israel will always find some reason to support others -to put up a good face. Like paying Turkey for what they never deserved. What you are saying is true IF Israel is independent -but in this case and with such an action, Israel will look very very bad. Israel is controlled Sarah B. I am disgusted at their INSANE leadership!!!
23. Yes #16 and #17! Indeed
Israeli 2   (05.24.14)
24. Unilateral Moves
Aharon   (05.24.14)
The only unilateral moves Israel should be making are annexing Judea and Samaria or at the very least Area C, with Areas A and B to be in annexed at a later time.
25. Can someone replace the scratched LP at #14?
A ,   Belgium   (05.24.14)
The needle seems to be stuck as the squawking parrot keeps repeating its same boring and ridiculous posts over and over.
26. #20 Chaim
Levi Shimon   (05.25.14)
Israel is strong enough for peace. Furthermore Gentiles are not the enemy. You must imagine a world where Gentiles and Jews live in Peace in the Middle-East as they do in the West. Israel already has a precedent: Its peace with Egypt for 35 years. This has let Israel not to need to have its army on high alert on the southern front. With a full peace in the region Israel can reduce its military and end the universal draft. It could grow its economy by a 100% by opening up trade with the oil rich countries next door.
