1. Possibly, POSSIBLY Pres. Peres will

...be able to at last do something positive in this decade and greet the leader of Catholics worldwide and clearly and loudly state: "Shalom. "Welcome to Israel and welcome to Jerusalem. The undivided and eternal capitol of the State of Israel" .
2. Reuters is an anti-Jewish propaganda machine

So why would an Israeli newspaper use this evil agency? Unless they don't like Jews and Judaism themselves.....?
3. He should not be allowed ...

... to visit Israel until he has learned to say "The State of Israel" and not just "The Holy Land." Unless I miss my guess, the duty of canonizing Pius XII will fall to Francis. Pius XII presided over a papacy which ignored the merciless slaughter of the Jews of Europe by the Nazis, and then proceeded to issue thousands of Vatican passports to wanted Nazi war criminals, many of whom had been sentenced to death in absentia and ALL of whom were wanted for war crimes and crimes against humanity. If presiding over the institution that did all that qualifies one for sainthood ... well, need I say more? The pope has no business coming to Israel. Why doesn't he travel to Africa and visit the desperate poverty of his loyal subjects? Or Latin America or the Philippines. No shortage of devout Catholics there, and most live in horrific situations. Why doesn't the Vatican help them? It is, after all, the wealthiest institution in the world. Can't it spend some money on them, instead of prying loose every spare penny because the Vatican cries poor?
4. There is no fine line

There is no fine line: support Israel according to the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth, or support the descendants of the Romans, the PLO.

Dear lady. Pope Francis visited my country, last year, and also Argentine. Surely, he will visit Africa, Philippines, and other Latin American countries. Vatican is not so rich and its properties, having cultural importance, couldn't be sold so easily. Without a honored peace with Israel, Palestinian State will never exist, and Francis knows it a lot, but he is obliged to be a diplomat toward Muslims, in order to protect Christian people. He is a friend of yours like me and many others, in a renewed Church. Please, give him a chance.
