would like to point out that the plan involves annexing PORTIONS of Area C that contain Israeli settlements and does not involve deporting or otherwise removing the Palestinians living in those parts. Naftali Bennett the architect of the plan proposed that (to quote the jpost article) " the Palestinians would be offered full Israeli citizenship" and that "The proposal includes removing IDF roadblocks in the territory left under Palestinian control, Areas A and B, as well as investing in infrastructure there and pursuing massive economic development." Just wanted to point that out.

.. in the unilateral move, then Israel will have no problem to annex the areas with settlements. I agree, make the settlement areas a part of Israel soil.

Israeli right to Judea & Samaria isn't only base of a "biblical birthright". The legality of these territories is based on the San Remo conference and its ratification, the Mandate for Palestine. This binding document is still full in force today under international law, because of: 1) the principle of acquired legal rights, codified in international law in the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties in 1969, which ensured that these fundamental rights of the Jewish People did not lapse with the international process or means which brought them into existence. 2) and the flip side of this principle known as the principle of estoppel which further insured that these acquired rights under international law could not simply be abrogated or denied by those states which previously recognized their existence. Annexing area C will not be a demographic threat to Israel, because there are only 50 000 PA Arabs there and not 300 000 ! (It should be noted that there are only 1.5 millions PA Arabs in Judea & Samaria, and not 2.5 millions). More important, all jewish communities are located in this area.

San Remo: "it being clearly understood that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities". What part of the word "Clearly" do you not understand, Hasbara Jeff? Not to mention numerous other more modern International Laws that make it even clearer that the occupation and colonization are ILLEGAL, such as tje Geneva Conventions and various UNSCR's.

So every part of the San Remo conference that the Arabs have ignored, like the creation of the Jewish state in the mandate of Palestine, that's okay? But that one line, that line that benefits the Arabs, that line we can't ignore, right? Believe me, it was clearly understood, which is why all Arabs living is Israel proper have full rights under the law! Those wars of extermination the Arabs waged were also against Geneva conventions! Why? how were you told the Israelis gained control of the west bank?

have you seen a map of what area c is? It's blobs allllll over the place. Its like america forming, and choosing your neighborhood to become a part of it, but excluded just your house, and that other house 4 houses down from you. I support Mr. Bennett on a lot of things, but this idea of his is just stupid. not to mention he makes a grab for all the resources of the west bank. Its a win-lose for us, he needs to make it more equal! annex most Jewish settlement, and make a buffer between the west bank in Jordan, as to not give them a continues supply chain to Iran to attempt our extermination, yet again!
