1. good news
CJK   (05.29.14)
the islamists have been beaten. the people of egypt will have a chance to get a life, hopefully. now al-sisi needs to fix the economy and continue to improve security in egypt.
2. May General Al Sisi rule in the wisdom of Elohim.
Rivkah   (05.29.14)
Perhaps his personal righteousness if he is protected by Elohim will delay or avert the prophesies of Egypt in the Holy Scriptures which warn of the Aswan Dam being nuked and Egypt becoming uninhabitable for forty years. Ezekiel chapter 22 says that if there is ONE MAN who is worthy to stand in the gap of the wall of a nation before Elohim...ONE MAN...that for the sake of that ONE MAN, Elohim will not destroy the nation or allow it to be destroyed by others. I hope and pray General Al Sisi is an Ezekiel chapter 22 man for Egypt and the Middle East.
3. 1Yes,but now Obama and WH Brothers will make problems 4 him
Alan ,   SA   (05.29.14)
Big problem is that Obama and his WH Brothesrs Committee will not let President Al Sisi do his job. They will question his "legitimacy". A lot of effort and time and money went into the bringing to power of the Egyptian Brothers by Obama.. He will use every trick in the book to rubbish President Al Sisi Just hold fast and dont let the Obama Brothers defeat you, Good Luck Rais ,you will need it
4. landlide election or unopposed election?
chris (munich)   (05.29.14)
#1 talks about the Islamists being beaten, when the Muslim Brotherhood called for a boycott and participation was low. The military man is expected to fix the economy, when the previous military man, Mubarak, did not have great success in this area? And "security" should improve?? Does that mean shooting more unarmed demonstrators and locking up more political opponents. Security for the state is not necessarily security for citizens.
5. Al-Sisi, you are in good hands with ISRAEL
Israeli 2   (05.29.14)
You have both defeated Obama and his brotherhood clan. Your people want peace and prosperity. With Israel's help, you can give it to them.
6. #4 you are spot on
GUH   (05.29.14)
Six decades of military rule led to Egypt's weakened state... so the solution to Egypt's current problem is... another military dictator? And as for all of the Zionist supporters, they cheerlead Sisi, because he will murderously repress Egyptian Arabs, but the likely outcome will only be further inspire radicalism and bloodshed. When will people learn?
7. I WANT TO SEE THE LOOKS ON THE HEAD
IRANIAN JEW ,   LA USA   (05.30.14)
mullah of Iran when he hears this. This is a great day for average peace living Egyptian. He usually rants about how Iran strike USA in the face everyday. Is this a strike in the face of mad mullahs or what?
8. #6 YOU ARE TELLING ME THAT MB
IRANIAN JEW ,   LA USA   (05.30.14)
was the last choice of the Egyptians? You forgot how many came to the streets wanting Morsi to go? Egyptians do not want mullahs ruling them. Morsi would have been better for Israel because he wanted to take Gaza back. Israel lost its chance there, but Egyptians do not want mullah HAM ASS either. Democracy and religion do not mix. Religion and government do not mix. Their will be bloodshed due to your religion and preaching of the mullahs in the mosques and not because people want more freedom. Zionist have nothing to do with majorities will. Zionist is a compliment if you really want to know or care to know.
