Those who spit at monks in Yeroushalaim are probably the same kind of people than those who spit on Jewish girls , insult them . And they are , as far as known to me , not caught either .

Hey, Yussef, you don't blame the victim for having been victimized. The history of anti-Semitism throughout the world is well-documented. The Jews were never a violent population, or an evil or criminal population. In Europe, the hatred visited upon the Jews over two millennia is not founded in anything but a hatred of Jews which was carefully taught and nurtured by organized Christianity. When the Vatican, and other branch-offs tapped into the deep wellspring of uneducated, superstitious Christians, they found a willing audience. The responses aren't "hateful," they are merely reactions to the gruesome fact of Christian history against the Jews. Perhaps you ought to read up on the subject before commenting.

Jesus as an enlightened man? Can't do that, because we really don't know anything about the historical Jesus. All we know for certain is that he certainly did not attract enough of a following to have found his way into contemporary accounts. Flavius Josephus, who devoted a great deal of effort to recording everything -- even word of mouth accounts -- never mentions him, and Flavius Josephus wrote about EVERYTHING. With extraordinary accuracy, I might add. Jesus was likely an itinerant hedge priest, with a small following, that never quite attracted the throngs which the new testament suggests. Keep in mind that "messiahs" -- especially the self-proclaimed ones -- were about a dime a dozen. The hallmark of the messiah is that his arrival will be obvious to all. Well, it wasn't; and Jesus had less of a following than most. Nothing was written about him until over one hundred years following his death. So we have no idea what he may or may not have said. Sorry. I can't speak to his "enlightenment." The fact is, no one can. Those who might have, did not -- which is reasonably indicative that he was not surrounded by particularly literate individuals -- and his "throngs," sorry to say this, would have been very small indeed. But every cult figure has his followers. This one, just not among the Jews. Christianity never held much appeal among Jews -- that's why the early Christians had to venture forth to Rome. You are correct about the rest. Christians in Israel enjoy all the rights and privileges of citizenship, their worship is tolerated without question; even encouraged. For them to complain is outrageous.

True, things could be better for christians in Israel, but they could also be much worse. Yes, unfortunately you are still in the middle-east and to survive in the middle-east you need to be strong or have strong allies. Israeli christians are neither. For far too long they supported the Palestinian cause while the Palestinians systematically destroyed Christian life in the West Bank and Gaza. To survive the Christian community needs to unite and throw it's weight behind Israel as the Druze have done. It won't fix everything but it will help.

Funny, I thought the exact same thing. Except Rivkah usually signs her posts. She either does not know, or does not care, just how whacked out she appears. Poisoned! At an Israeli restaurant. Except when a taxi driver sat with him. That's a first!

paganized from the edicts of Emperor Constantine and the Council of Laodicia (apostate church) and the Roman Catholic Church. It is very sad, but there is no reason other than Satan blinding you to truth for you to reject the Jewish Messiah and go to hell. Proverbs 30:4,5 says Elohim has a Name and Elohim has a Son who has a Name. I believe those names are Yahovah and Yashoahua (Father Abba and Son). Isaiah chapter 53 gives a description of the Son who is unmistakably Yahoshua of Nazareth who was crucified by the Romans long ago and for whom the Jews suffered a 2000 year dispersion for not knowing their Messiah in His advent as the Sacrificial Lamb, fulfilling the Spring Feasts of Elohim. He will come again to deliver the Jews when they call on Elohim (Yahovah-Yahoshua) by Name to fulfill the Fall Feasts of Elohim. Luke the physician Apostle was Greek. Simon the Canaanite Apostle was a castrated Canaanite. Neither were Jews by their mother's heritage, but both were ciricumcised to preach the gospel, a truth Emperor Constantine changed as well as the name of the Messiah to JeZeus and the Sabbath of the Lord to the pagan Sunday Sabbath of the sungod JeZeus (Satan). Keep the Sabbath of the Lord which is the seventh day so you can enter into the Lord's Rest (Hebrews chapter 4). That means do not buy or sell food or wares from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday or work except to do good.

Israel has taken the initiative. These are kept subtle in order to protect the Christian Arabs from their nastier Moslem neighbors. Christian Arabs (like Moslem Arabs) do not pay municipal taxes. They are not required to serve in the military, although national service is encouraged. They are given preferential treatment with respect to university admission. I think the time as come to choose, and that goes for Moslem Arabs in Israel, too. They are either Israeli or they are not. They cannot straddle the fence any longer. If, for whatever reason, they cannot conceive of themselves as loyal to the State of Israel, then they should leave. There are not very many countries who would be willing to accept the Moslem (for pretty good reason), but Christian Arabs from Israel will have no such trouble. Israel cannot tolerate a disloyal population; the stakes are simply too high.

being killed for body parts. Surprisingly, I was not robbed or poisoned in Mexico but then having a driver who is very careful not to drive after 4PM on isolated highways is helpful as is paying off the Federales and soldiers who take half as much as the Federales to leave one alone. Anyone who wants a driver in Mexico should contack Rojelio (Roger) Zolazable in Chetumal, Belize. Canadians particularly trust him to drive their RV's to Belize in the Fall and back to Canada in the Spring. Beware, however, that it is an old RV or vehicle since the Belizian government wants half the value of vehicles to allow them into the country to prevent people from selling vehicles there.

Nazareth, saying he had hair the color of new wine that parted in the middle and that His eyes are lively and gray-blue and that he was the handsomest man on earth. I think that was the Shikinah glory of the Ruach HaKadosh shining from Him that was beautiful since Isaiah and Psalms say he was not comely. Isaiah chapter 53 and the Messianic Psalms can describe no one but Yahoshua of Nazareth since the genealogical records were destroyed with the Second Temple in Jerusalem about 40 years after his death. Jesus (JeZeus) is a paganized Christian invention of Emperor Constantine. Josephus Flavius did not write of JeZeus since that was about 300 years after the death of Yahoshua. Josephus Flavius spoke of Yahoshua of Nazareth and believe him to be the Jewish Messiah.

And you think it is any different in the USA or any other country. there is hatred and evil against any religion anywhere. those things go on in the USA as well, maybe you haven't read about the shootings in churches here, or burnings... but it does go in more than you hear of in America that is supposedly a Christian country. I have been to Israel twice and felt more welcome there then in many areas of the USA. Whether we are Jew or Christian we must understand that there will be people who will not accept us.

So, which is it? Castrated or circumcised? Perhaps a circumcision gone terribly, terribly wrong? Rebecca, Judaism is fiercely monotheistic. Our definition of G-d does not require him to have a son. That's purely out of Greco-Roman mythology. Christianity initially expanded to Rome -- you know, if you REALLY want to sell the product .... You're really wound a little tight, Rivkah. You need to relax. Have you tried yoga? It's the best thing for stress.

Rivkah. Please. Look up Josephus, can you? He was writing his accounts while there were still people around who would have remembered Jesus. He was never mentioned. Face it, chica -- he just was not that popular. And Josephus never mentions him. The acid test: there are no contemporary accounts of Jesus, Yehoshua, or whatever. NONE. There are contemporary accounts of John the Baptist (and none of them particularly complimentary), but none of Jesus. Keep in mind that messiahs were a dime a dozen back then. Jesus may have had a cult following, but it would have been very small. There is no evidence that he was crucified, either. Sorry -- my purpose is to enlighten, not to offend.

chapters 18 and 20 say Yahoshua of Nazareth (called Jesus Christ in the English translation) was the Jewish Messiah. Flavius Josephus was a Messianic Orthodox Jewish believer.
53. 45 Sarah B.: Read Proverbs 30:4,5. It says Elohim
Rivkah   (06.02.14)
has a Name and Elohim has a Son who has a Name. Read Isaiah chapter 53. There is no one but Yahoshua of Nazareth who was crucified who could be the Jewish Messiah in the advent of fulfilling the Spring Feasts of Elohim as the sacrificial Lamb. Go to Flavius Josephus' writings called Antiquities of the Jews and read chapters 18 and 20 where he refers to Yahoshua as the Jewish Messiah. (called Jesus Christ in most English translations) He also refers to Johanan the Baptiser called John the Baptist in most translations. Yes, Elohim (plural name) is ONE Yah but He has a Son who is imparted with the attributes of deity. His Son bows to the Father Abba Yahovah and prays to the Father. That tells you who the Almighty Yah is: the Father. The Son is called the Mighty Yah but cannot exist without the Father while the Father can exist without the Son as evidenced in the death of the Son when crucified. All Elohim beings are gods which is what Psalms says as well as the words of Yahoshua the Jewish Messiah. Little g gods. Yahovah is the Big G only God or Yah while His Son is the physical manifestation of the Father who is Spirit. How sad for you to face your Creator's Son and for Him to weep at your being turned away from the heavenly Jerusalem since you rejected the Son and He is the door to the Father and eternal life.

If she has brains . Here she did not sign her stupid writings , she didn't need it , everyone who follows the talkbacks see it immediately . It's 100 % her . She did NOT succeed to hide the origin of those anonymous talkbacks . She told us already such things . I told her once to write books , with all the fantasy she has , with all the stories she can invent ....

Of course she's brainwashed; she's a member of the cult. But she needs to change her name -- I'm willing to bet that she was not baptized "Rivkah." If she's trying to really offend Jews, it's working. Calling herself "Rivkah" is an absolute affront. Perhaps she should change her name to "Jezebel" or "Delilah." Much more appropriate!

YO   (07.03.18)
Thanks, it's time for the "christian" zionist heretic rabble to realize Jews aren't heir friends and stop dying for them in wars half the world away. It's written in the halacha that no Jew should enter a Church lets it becomes posessed by a spirit of idolatry, they can't even come close to one. But, Jews are allowed to pray inside mosques because islam and judaism are practically the same. http://halachayomit.co.il/en/ReadHalacha.aspx?HalachaID=2367
