1. bibi on his own cannot l aunch a strike
marv   (05.29.14)
bibi cannot do this on h is own. He is not begin. He is unable to tell livni to her face-no negotiations with abbas. He cannot tell obama no to apology to erdogan or prisoner release. Only if yaalon says yes along with lapid would he go ahead. Bibi is a spokesman and nothing more. Iran has nothing to worry about.

split ,   US   (05.29.14)
According Dr. Landau statement it's not the Iranians but Israelis sending threats ... Like the civilized world and leaders didn't know already who's who and what to expect from either side ,...
5. Is anyone still considering THAT?Seems it suddenly vaporized
tom ,   tel aviv   (05.29.14)
6. listen to thy experts & remain seated
Cameron ,   USA   (05.29.14)
Only the Yanks maintain sufficient assets & ability to strike the Persians down in the conventional military sense. Not for Israel that kind of reach.
7. Grave mistake vs Vaporization
Brod ,   USA   (05.29.14)
Between grave mistake and being vaporized by fanatical Ayatollahist nuke, it does not take rocket science to figure which is preferable. When Islamist-Jihadist fanatics obtain nukes, the region and the world would be vaporized. Period. Ergo, Israel must defend itself from Armageddon. Failure to do so would be the end of the story for Israel and the world.
8. Amateurs are experts ?
Arn. ,   Sweden.   (05.29.14)
I Quote - An Israeli attack against Iran's nuclear facilities is not a relevant option as long as Tehran continues negotiating with world powers over its atom program, Israeli nuclear experts said Thursday. Comment - When did this Nuclear Expert becom a political dito ? The Talks will lead nowhere !. Arn.
9. how much longer will the capitulation talks last
CJK   (05.29.14)
as both professor litvak and emily landau have made clear, even the few concessions that the shia terror regime has made are reversible. obama's capitulation deal has left in place the shia terror regime's entire nuclear weapons program. nothing whatever has changed. one wonders whether obama even understands that simple fact. after all, he cannot understand math beyond the seventh grade.
10. Destroy Iran's nukes NOW! No sane debate here.
Chaim ,   Israel   (05.29.14)
How much thinking does it take to realize "easily reversible" concessions are worthless? Destroy Iran's nukes NOW! We are talking about nuclear bombs in the hands of genocidal maniacs! There is no sane debate here.
11. Split #2
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (05.30.14)
Israel doesn't need America's permission. We know what you and Obama are full of.
12. What about the 20%?
x ,   x   (05.30.14)
Yeah, but it's not 100%! What about the 20% that's still intact? As an American, I really do think that even if Israel got nuked, America would do nothing. The President would say he was "gravely disappointed" and do nothing. Kinda' like how he did with Syria and the chemical attack incident. America with it's "red lines" that mean nothing, countless negotiations with dictators and the like only make our enemies bolder. Those of you that are in their 40's and older, think about it. Would things be like this if Ronald Reagan was still President?
13. Destroy the whole program, and ask questions later
Dr. Merkwurdigliebe ,   Valley of Deathshade   (05.29.14)
Hiroshima & Nagasaki style....talks or no talks .
14. #9, Iran's nuclear program is already neutralized by Israel
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (05.30.14)
There is a lot of undercover operations going on in Iran, the latest is the disabling of Qum plant and the bombing of Qazvin research facility. As it proved in the past Israel will not tolerate another nuclear power in the region and not conducting a frontal attack does not mean that nothing is done. Iran wants to keep the charade going and the only reason it agreed to talks is that it realized that they do not have a nuclear option any longer but would not let the world know.

16. Two comments
Alexander ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (05.30.14)
1) Obama's and EU's intention has been all along to stop an Israeli attack on, and an Israeli prevention of the Iranian nuclear program. Obama's and EU's intentions have been all along to drag out the negotiations, to keep stalling, and then when it's too late to stop Iran, they will simply say: "Oh well, as Iran will get the nukes soon anyway, just let them have them." THAT WAS THE PLAN ALL THE TIME. Obama and the EU have NO intentions of stopping Iran's nukes and an Iranian nuclear attack on Israel since that's precisely what Obama and EU want. 2) If Israel, with fewer fighter planes, fewer military, technologicial and economic resources, and with a smaller and more fragile national economy, could take on Iraq in the 1980s and Syria a few years ago (while Olmert was the PM), I definitely Think Israel can take care of Iran today. The distance to Iran is no argument. Israel successfully attacked PLO terrorists in Tunisia using planes in the 1980s and Tunisia is farther away than Iran. The major difficulty would be to attack several targets deep inside Iran whereas Osirak in Iraq was just one single target.
17. landau and litvak are self declared military experts also
