The Israel haters are showing their ignorance again. The US didn't help Israel in the six days war. In fact, Israel used French jets in this war. Israel and the US became allies only later.

The entire IAF is grounded except for planes on missions so more like they are decreasing operational capabilities by 400% rather than increasing it. The pilots don't get their training which is what has always given the IAF its edge over the arabs not the planes. No flying time means the skills are lost and the IAF no longer has that winning edge.

In 1967 the IAF used French jets and military aid didn't start till after 1967 when the US discovered that the IDF had teeth and was useful for American interests in a region of Soviet client states. In the 50s Operation Rooster the IDF secretly flew into Egyp and stole a new Soviet radar system then took it back for study by both Israel & the US and this was before the US became an ally, The first look at alot of Soviet weapons were via Israel so Israel has earned its support from the US over the years.
