1. Abbas term exprired in 2009
Mordechai   (05.31.14)
Abbas's term of office expired January 9, 2009 so he has no authority to make any decisions. He can't authorize signing any conventions as a private citizen anymore than I can. What he is is the head of a terrorist organization Fatah which has agreed to an alliance with another terror organization Hamas. Of course neither Israel or any other country should give any money to the PLO. The PA which expired with the expiration of the Oslo accords also doesn't exist. This tax money should be used to pay off the debts the PA has including all the electricity bills. After that Israel should manage that money for the benefit of all the residents of Judea and Samaria Jew and Arab equally.
2. Land Borders more Impossible
Zechariah   (05.31.14)
The Just land deal is half of Judae and Samariah to the Jews Half to the Arabs and the Arabbs get 3000square kilometre of Islamic Israel .Most of the Jewish Judae and Samaria ought be a Military Zone Guarding against Armegeddon .The one hundred million is micro politics as decades from now Jew Arab and International will face the common enemy Satanic Suicide Mass Murder Gangs.
3. Just deduct past due electric bill
Eric ,   Tel Aviv & NYC   (05.31.14)
No need for punishment just collect the millions owed for electricty already used by the PA.
4. The PA formation whitewashes islamic terror.
Beary White ,   Norway   (06.01.14)
... The mixture of fatah and hamas establishes an islamic cult government with the islamic legality of terror inside,- legality of apartheid, abuse, murder and executions. Then, when they starts killing each other, the yelling for allah will be ridiculous, and make everyone laugh..:-)
5. Money
The Bald Scotsman ,   Tampa, USA   (06.01.14)
No problem Mr Abbass. Lets see how much Israel owes the PA in taxes and how much the PA owes Israel in electricity etc. Do the math and whoever owes the other must pay up. Now isn't that fair?
6. give the PA money to the IDF
zionist forever   (06.01.14)
The IDF spends billions providing security and purchasing equipment and one of the number 1 problems is Hamas. The IDF needs money and Lapid won't give it so take it from the unity terrorist government.
7. Here's what we'll do...
manicdrummer ,   Haifa, Israel   (06.01.14)
Subtract what the Palestinians owe from the taxes collected in their behalf, give them what's left over if anything and call it even. The Palestinians will be on their own from then on.
8. # 2 Zachariah are you nuts? G-d gave Israel to the Jews not
BUILD BABY BUILD !!!   (06.01.14)
arabs, don't you know anything? No pals/arabs/muslims in Israel, they've screwed up every inch of all lands they inhabit. JEWS ONLY IN ISRAEL !!!!
9. Zechariah
DavidR ,   USA   (06.01.14)
The fair land deal is the one HaShem laid out in His Word. Nothing less! Eretz Israel belongs to the people of Israel! All 13 Tribes! With a name like Zechariah, I would think you know that! Well, what's in a name? PLENTY!
10. OK! ABU TALK
IRANIAN JE ,   LA USA   (06.01.14)
Please go ahead and collect your money on your own from now on. This guy can't run a laundry shop let alone a country. He has built no future for his people and just spends all the money on guns or teaching his people to kill Jews. He is not even the real elected president. He would not even be here if he had an election after his term was due back in 2009.
11. The Arabs may announce whatever they wish, but their ...
N.L.Katz ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (06.01.14)
... announced front-organization of Hamas-Fatah terror groups should not change the fact that the liberal democratic and sovereign nation-state of the Jewish people, the State of Israel, will not deal with this new group of thugs. Let the Hamas meet the simple three points demanded of it by the entire international community before Israel deals with its front-organization: 1) Accept Israel's right to exist 2) Cease all acts of terror and decommission all illicit weapons 3) Adhere to all agreements reached with Israel and signed by the parties The UN, US, EU and Russia place these demands upon the Hamas, all of which, for years, it has categorically rejected. So, why should anyone deal with it, e.g. Israel, the Obama White House...??!!
12. They can do what they like just as long as the US taxpayer
Jo   (06.01.14)
Not have to fund it. Abbas and Hamas are free to be unified and make their own laws, as they wish but western governments are not obligated to fund them. So if they do this they should be prepared to live by their own decisions and all their own responsibilities., which is what any state aspires to.
13. I don't get what's the big deal! No punishment!
Yitzchak ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (06.01.14)
Just simply seal up Areas A and B. Nobody and nothing in... nobody and nothing out!!! They want independence, so be independent!!!!
14. Let them collect their own taxes
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.01.14)
That will put a real major dent in their bottom line, but that would be their problem. That would be the worst "punitive" action Israel could take -- leave them responsible for their own tax collections. They'd have to build the infrastructure first, of course. That's something they are thoroughly incapable of doing. The "Palestine" Authority has a bloated bureaucracy and an even more bloated staff of "civil servants." Those in charge have created no-show jobs for a vast number of family members. It is mind-boggling to think that the "Palestine" Authority has more "civil servants" than most states in the United States! Hey, a free job! All pay, no work. Dreamy. Then, there's the matter of a huge unpaid utilities bill. Israel can shut the "Palestine" Authority down, merely by flicking a switch. Fully legal; fully appropriate; entirely deserved. Don't the "Palestinians" recognize this?
15.  Abbas says PA will respond to any Israeli punitive measure
A ,   Belgium   (06.01.14)
"I will immediatly run to my Sugar Daddy in Washington, throw a tantrum, sob without consolation, stamp my feet, beat my fists on the floor and refuse to eat my dinner. Than I will join every organization in the UN that I possibly can while promising not to take unilateral steps. And than, the biggest lie of all, "(the government) is going to recognize Israel, denounce violence and recognize the international agreements," There, I said it, now I WANT MY MONEY!"
16. 8 - Please think about what you advocate
Harmen Breedeveld ,   Leiden, Netherlands   (06.01.14)
Dear "Build baby build", please think about what you just wrote. Jews only in Israel? No pals/ arabs/ muslims in Israel? Just switch some words and you have a statement from Nazi Germany in the 1930s. Please, reflect upon what you are saying and think about whether this is truly the kind of world you want your children to live in. Dreams of ethnic cleansing - which is what you are proposing - will only lead to more hatred and pain, on both sides. Please reflect on it.
17. Palestinian Taxes
bigizz ,   Israel / USA   (06.01.14)
Public needs to understand where and what Monies the Arabs are claiming their own. Everyday Arabs work in Israel and get Paid. like every country in the World, the country you work in collects income taxes. All income made by working in Israel should have to pay income taxes due to Israel. Meaning income made in the State of Israel, taxes are and due shall be paid to the State f Israel. Arabs want their income taxes paid to Arabs for their government be able to operate. This post is for the public to understand where the $100,000 million originates from and why Israel has the right to with hold these funds Israel generously gives the Arabs. All the best to the Jewish State of Israel Bigizz Israel / USA.
