Time to call in the debt. Revoke immediately one-half of the work permits issued to West Bank Arabs. Let the "Palestine" Authority find employment for them, or find a way to pay them unemployment. Not Israel's problem. Annex Judea and Samaria. Start out by annexing the settlement blocs. This is not subject to discussion with the "Palestine" Authority, because Hamas is now a part of their government. They will go charging to the United Nations, but that's going to be a bit problematic. Quite a few member states of the United Nations view Hamas as a terrorist group, too. Terrorists will revert to doing that which terrorists do best: commit acts of terror. But the "Palestinians" consider themselves a quasi-state. We'll take it at face value, and the first mortar or missile or attack upon an Israeli should be treated as a declaration of war. Abbas has gone completely around the bend. Did he really think that there would not be consequences to his linking up with Hamas? And those consequences are far broader than he appears to realize. He can kiss funding from the United States and Canada -- at a minimum -- good-bye. There are a few other nations that will breathe a sigh of relief for the excuse not to fund the "Palestine" Authority that Abbas handed them on a silver platter. The European Union, which is failing fast, will shop desperately for a reason not to fund the "Palestinians," despite the efforts of a few "true believers," such as Ashton. Of course, the EU received a cold dose of reality last week with the outcome of elections, and they will be hard-pressed to fund an Islamic fundamentalist group dedicated to terror.
