Mark. Your statement is nonsense. There is no such thing as a "thinking liberal". Liberalism is a mental disorder for which there is no cure. It is precisely the kind of mindless, thoughtless ideology that puts people like Hitler and Obama into power. I don't support "right-wing nutters", but at least they have a thought process, even if it is one with which you or I disagrees. There is simply no such though process going on in voting "Democrat" from the moment one turns 18 until the moment one dies. Had Bush, McCain or Romney run under the Democratic ticket, three quarters of American Jews would have voted for them. As I said above, the only thing that matters to American Jews is the letter ("D") after a candidate's name. If you categorize such people as "thinking liberals" (an oxymoronic phrase if ever there was one), you don't know what the word "thinking" means.
