Now that we have a united Palestinian neighborhood, seeking peace: How about the Islamic Jihad will support a sentence extension actually to 40 years? To show their commitment to not trying to do so again? And then, the State of Israel will be nice enough to meet them in the middle, and agree to something between the proposed 40 and the current 20, say, 30, or 35 years... Can you imagine getting kidnapped and being held in Jennin? (which was also given 'back' to the peace-supporters there). Just a thought.

If an Israeli arab uses the fact he has the freedom to roam in Israel to help a terrorist organization kidnap soldiers from within Israel then there should be automatic maximum punishment. A non Israeli citizen they you expect to try this sort of thing which is why we have precautions to try and stop it such as border fences but an arab who has the luxuries of the freedoms he has thanks to his citizenship then thats an abuse of his citizenship and so he should be treated even worse than an an outsider. This shouls even be considered an act of treachery and they have their citizenship revoked

He should have gotten the max of 20 plus deportation to Gaza at the end of his term. I would not put this guy all full of remorse that he is back out on the street...PERIOD!
