"Presenting the truth about Jewish ties to the Land of Israel" - Based on what, on your fairytales stolen from other cultures? ,... The Creation in Genesis for instance 'adopted' from the Sumerian 'Book of Gilgamesh' - If this is the proof of your ties to Holy Land than the Universe including Earth must be 6.000 yo. ;) ,...
2. Even Ynet regards haredim as the only true Jews
Chaim ,   Israel   (06.12.14)
It's for this reason they added a photo of haredim on the front. Even the secular and G-dless see haredim as the real Jews, the only ones who respect G-d and His Torah and His land. The only ones who would not destroy the land of Israel with immorality and abomination. And they're the only reason that G-d hasn't given away the land to the Arabs.

Your fake cult of Islam trying to persuade the true owners of the land, why it isn't ours, is your new high funny man.

The Epic of Gilgamesh and the Flood in the Bible are only two of many, many flood accounts. The Sumerians recorded theirs, and the Jews recorded ours. Of course, you could not possibly understand, because at the time the Jews wrote the Bible, whatever people inhabited Poland probably swung from trees, painted their faces blue and howled at the moon. See? Very little has changed in Poland. "Fairy tales" backed by solid archaeological evidence. Are you an acknowledged expert or recognized authority on how time was told 5,000 years ago? Eventually, the Jews adopted a lunar calendar, but you have no way of knowing, really how time was interpreted. Clearly, it was not solar. It was probably based on a far shorter event. What we do know is that if ages were described as reaching into the several hundreds and even beyond, at the time the Bible was written, the average lifespan was less than 30 years. One was deemed to be ancient by the age 35. So time was compressed into far shorter definitions. As an example, the concept of "year" had to be expanded and defined differently in order to measure distances between, say, galaxies. Hence, the "light year" was created, which is to say, the distance light travels in a vacuum over a period of one year. Six thousand years ago, it is likely that there was a much shorter interval to measure time. The Jewish people did not "steal" histories -- recorded or oral -- from anyone else. 'Twould be nice if the same could be said for Christianity and Islam, which stole from Judaism. Plagiarists, thieves, mongrels, drunks, mass murderers, fanatical jihadists. Quite the legacy Christianity and Islam have left the world. The faster you distance yourselves from the Jewish people and the Jewish faith, the happier I am.

BUILD BABY BUILD !!!   (06.12.14)
There are two references in the Bible eliminating this myth of 6 k year old world... Both ( sic) state that 'a day with the Lord when past is like a thousand years.' That would mean that with the Jewish calendar 5775 = over 2 billion years. One Master Rabbi theorizes that here have been 7 world meaning, that in actuality, the world we know is over 14 billion years. You really aren't too bright, are you, Muslim I resume?

When the Sumerians recorded their Genesis, had an irrigation system developed government bureaucracy, schools and dormitories the Hebrews didn't exist, those who wandered out of Sumer according to your fairytales were illiterate sheep herder nomads living of what they found unable to support themselves,... Six of the Ten Commandments and 3/4 of 613 principles of Torah's law observed by Jews was 'adopted' from an Egyptian Book of Dead recorded on the walls of their tombs around 2600 BC, that's 1600 years before Moses was born, if you believe that he ever existed. The funny part is in the detail that the Moses story is a carbon copy of Sargon of Akkad, also known as Sargon the Great story that was recorded around 1200 years before Moses, again if you believe that he existed ;) ,... David and Goliath appears in the Iliad, where the young Nestor fights and conquers the giant Ereuthalion. An armor described in 1 Samuel 17 is typical of Greek armor of the sixth century BC rather than of Philistines armor of the tenth century BC and that narrative formula such as the settlement of battle by single combat between champions is characteristic of the Homeric epics (the Iliad) but not of the ancient Near East. A scale armour was develped and used by Scythians that prosperous reign in Europe lasted from 5th to 3rd centuries BC to gradual lose of power and influence to Greeks and Romans. The same fairytales that brag about Davids/Solomon mighty kingdom and armies of hunreds of thousands well trained and armed warriors paints the Philistines as the Israel's mortal enemy despite that according to historical records total population of Philistine was around 25,000 in the 12 century BC, rising to a peak of 30,000 in the 11 century BC of which the 'aegean' element was not more than half the total, and perhaps much less. Domesticated camels are mentioned in the biblical stories at the time of the Patriarchs, (Abraham, Joseph, Jacob) 2000-1500 BCE, but according to scholars relying on archaeological carbon dated proof domesticated camels arrived in the southern Levant around 900 BCE. There's no scholarly supported proof that any earlier ,... I can go on and on and on ,...

Those six commandments you bark about were accepted by most , if not all , religions . Not murder , respect , not to steal , and so , are norms accepted by atheists too . They were in an Egyptian book , so what ? could Jews because of this not "adopt" them ? Would it mean , that for you , Christians could not use them either ? Fairytales ? you know that , an image , when Israelis were searching for water they had instruments in one hand , and the Tora in the other one . So no tales , but History of the Jewish people

The Jews had two nations in the area. The arabs had none. Neither did the Poles. Go read BAR magazine (Biblical Archeology Review) for the many discoveries in the area. But we know you won’t as facts are anathema to you.

Bravo! to UNESCO for finally showing some courage and recognizing a historical truth: Israel is eternal. This UN move will also encourage some Arab states to recognize their neighbour, tiny Israel in their midst, and to regain the enlightened stature and wisdom they rightly enjoyed in the old days and that is still part of their great civilization and ancestral traditions. History moves on.
