Abbas cannot form a unity government with Hamas when they are obstructing the search for 3 teenage boys. It will be the end of his credibility in the international community and last couple of moneht he has worked real hard to develop that image. He either has to get the boys back unconditionally and be seen to trying to get them back unconditionally or the sympathy will be with Israel. If he tries to get the boys back unconditionally both Hamas and the palestsinian street will turn on Abbas as an Israeli puppet traitor. What we do not though need now is Bennet getting any ideas about building more settlements to punish them.

We all know Hamas is behind this terror attack. The kidnapping, celebration and amateur video. That's all they offer the Palestinians. Hamas was afraid Palestinians would unify behind the PA and leave them in the dust. In reality, Hamas only brings problems and sorrow to the Palestinians. They provoke a conflict and hope the Israeli response will bring them recognition from the Arab world. That's all they care about.
