The reason the IDF has had no leads is due to the fact the kidnappers are probably ammeters loyal to Hamas. They wanted to kidnap the boys turn them over to the Hamas top brass for ransom only trouble is the IDF arrived on the scene before they could get rid of them and now they just do not know what to do with them. The IDF is trained to deal with Hamas and their tactics not amateurs who have survived so long out of luck more than anything. If they are amateurs they are even more of a threat to the boys because unlike the professionals because they don't know how to ransom them which is probably why there have been no demands so the boys are a burden and they might decide the easy thing is kill them and dump the bodies.
