2. Good riddance to envoys who blame settlements for no peace
Sam ,   Canada   (06.27.14)
Palestinians reject a 2 state solution and reject a 1 state solution with Jews in it and American and EU envoys want to blame settlements for no peace. The EU and US envoys are not afraid of Israel so they take the easy way out by blaming it. They treat Palestinians who reject peace with kid gloves. It's no wonder they have nothing to show for their efforts.

Harold ,   USA   (06.27.14)
I always said Indyk is not the suitable person to be the United States envoy for the Middle East peace process. President Obama and John Kerry must select an ex General who knows the Middle East for this sensitive position. The selected representative must neutral and never contact any type of lobbyists.
4. Good riddance to this pompous know it all
Al   (06.27.14)
He was front row and centre in Israel's security decline over the past 20 years. The Arabs want to wipe out the Jews of Israel. There will never be any peace with them.
5. Is it too soon to say "Good riddance"?
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (06.27.14)
Indyk was a known quantity, and Israel didn't want him involved in these negotiations. He proved every bit as bad as they'd feared. Well, now he can rant about Israel messing up his grand plans back at Brookings. But this resignation is not a problem for Obama. He's already got another "Jewish" diplomat ready to take his place, ready to put the pressure on Israel on his behalf.
6. Indyk quits. The news gets better

and better

9. May Kerry and Obama soon follow suit.
Chaim ,   Israel   (06.27.14)
Indyk's disgusting conduct during and after the phony "peace talks with Palestinians" won't be missed. May his equally loathsome partners Kerry and Obama soon follow suit.
10. Lowenstein replaces Indyk, jew for jew.

Yes Harold, we are all just really head over heels in love with what you "always said." We await your every word with our undivided attention and admiration. Your wisdom just overwhelms our ability to comprehend it. (Of course, sarcasm on.) Can you read Harold? If so, I would suggest the Tanach, if you know what that is, which I doubt. I threw away my Christian commentaries years ago. I discovered the Truth. Try it you may like it. It is called Torah. Mashiach is the living Torah but you probably know nothing of Mashiach either. Please study to show yourself approved.

I think so. A Palestinian State will never be created as long as AIPAC is alive.

I'm guessing you don't actually know what the term Zionist means, do you? I'll make it easy for you and spell it out so you can understand it. It means that the Jews have a right to have a homeland in Israel. I certainly HOPE that the State Department believes this. As for the rest of your comment, you clearly don't like Jews. I'm betting you don't like Blacks or Hispanics either. Your sort generally doesn't.

I didn't even read the article, just clicked on it to see people's comments, and it was well worth it.

Ummm, Harold, AIPAC endorses a 2 state solution. Your comment is ridiculous.
