1. As the taxi driver said
Arnold-Canada ,   Montreal   (06.29.14)
"let us die in peace" Actually he should tell Hamas that it is about time to make peace with Israel in order for life to get better. With peace will come full trade with both Israel and Egypt. But stubbornness or fear of Hamas is keeping all that from happening.
2. They want the fuel, don't want to pay the price
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (06.29.14)
Of course they'd rather buy the cheaper, smuggled Egyptian gas - cheaper only because of budget -busting subsidies. And the PA, so ready to pay "salaries" to terrorist prisoners and idle Gaza workers is too stingy to pay market prices for the fuel from Israel. So the sewage and garbage flow.
3. Sewage/Garbage??
koose E mack ,   NY US   (06.29.14)
I thought it was camouflage for Hamas/PLO fighters!
4. Not Israel's concern. Arabs should take care of it themselvs
Chaim ,   Israel   (06.29.14)
Before the Expulsion, when Israelis lived there, they didn't have this problem. Surely got polluted from the thousands of rockets fired into Israel.
5. you couldn't make this up!
Mark ,   London, UK   (06.29.14)
I guess it's the noble outcome of endless resistance.
6. SURF'S UP!
ASTRONAUT ,   SC, USA   (06.29.14)
Beach-time! Cool! Uh-oh, nasty polluted Gaza beaches! Looks like Gaza.gov is too busy hating Israel to take care of their own infrastructure.
7. "gaza" Samaria & Judea have been Israel for over 4000 years.
Doc Stevens ,   Youngstown USA   (06.29.14)
When arabs (mistakenly called 'palestinians') stop firing rockets into Israel, stop killing, terrorism, kidnapping, brainwashing their children with the evil koran, they will receive additional fuel. Until the 3 kidnapped boys are returned, these people from Cyprus, Egypt, Syria & Jordan mistakenly called 'palestinians' should receive no fuel. They must be taxed to clean up this international body of water. All pipes leading to the sea must be permanently capped.
8. Sewage in the becajes, piles of rotting garbage
Tim ,   Brighton   (06.30.14)
Yet pots of UNWRA and other money for Summer Camps for over 100,000 Children to lean the art of Racism, Intolerance, Violence and Martydom, money for thousands of Rockets, and HUGE AMOUNTS for the FAT CATS of Hamas
9. Economics 101
i ,   jerusalem   (07.01.14)
there is a chapter on guns //butter, but it seems too complicated for the Hamas polluted thought process
10. Ripping out the sewer pipes to make rockets....
Dave ,   Montreal, Canada   (07.04.14)
What did they expect?
11. Sandy beaches no more!
(07.06.14)
Human engineering ingenuity in science and proper education than reading some religious book can build tunnelling through earth to flash Sea water to outer world; no more sea and sandy beaches for humm!
12. Hamas
Leon ,   Los Angeles   (07.09.14)
I thought that Hamas is the trash at the beach. The area could use some cabanas and umbrellas to make the day at the beach great for everyone. Funny that guns and missiles do not provide any shade. Oh well.
13. Exactly right No. 10
BethesdaDog ,   Bethesda MD USA   (07.09.14)
I forgot about that! When the Israelis left, they left behind beautiful new state-of-the-art greenhouses. Did the Gazans take over the greenhouses and make them productive by growing something they could sell? No, they tore the greenhouses apart, ripping up anything they could find for whatever purposes, probably to sell as scrap. Totally useless people. What's wrong with them?
