This horrendous needless killing of 3 boys makes me very, very angry. Abbas must separate his group of Palestinians totally from the Terrorist Group Hamas, and he should honestly pursue peace with Israel, not duplicitous statements to his people and something else for the international media. He needs to reform his schools, so the innocent Palestinian kids are not taught to hate. He needs to learn to govern the opposite of Hamas--so that there is freedom of religion and separation of mosque and state-- and Abbas needs to come to Israel with honesty and openness, and refrain from seeking a "state" from the U.N. He needs to not only recognize Israel as a Jewish state which has true democracy for it's minority citizens, but also cooperate with Israel to build a democratic partner state to Israel. "Resistance" needs to be eliminated from the vocabulary of Palestinians. Antisemitism must be outlawed by edict of Abbas. This is the ONLY CHOICE for the Palestinian people to survive.

First, there is nothing illegal or inherently wrong about deportations. The legal restrictions refered to in this artilce are obviously misunderstood by the author. It is illegal to round up a whole population and expel them, but deportnig a criminal is not only legal, but common practice throughout the world. Moreover, many arrested had Jordanian passports. While Isreal has no interest in deporting them to Jordan, or Jordan in accepting them, Israel is well within its rights to state that they are not permitted to remain in the territory Israel controls and, due to their Jordanian citizenship, will; not be rendered stateless either. Anyone arrested who holds citizenship of any country other than Israel should be immediately deported to that country or a third country willing to take them.

10000 years of history have proven beyond any doubt, that it is impossible for Israel to "destroy" Hamas because no matter how many Arabs Israel kills, there will be a hundred more to take the dead person's place and the new people will be even worse than the ones that get killed. Israel can NOT, repeat NOT, kill its way to peace. All it will accomplish is an even more bloody future for every one in Israel. Israel has never actually listened to the other side and tried to reach a FAIR compromise, but has just killed more humans. The Arabs have some very VALID reasons for being angry and ignoring them ensures a very, very bad future for Israel.

Israel's goal is to have a terror-free society. It means getting rid of Arabs, and we should deport them. 10,000 years ago there were no Arabs. You really are very poorly educated. Israel does not have to "compromise" with the Arabs. The Arabs started -- and lost -- six wars. They are a vanquished people and should be treated as such.
