Burning someone alive certainly qualifies as a hate crime in my book. The question of motive is another one. Of course, the mere fact that we know that it is possible (probable) that this was done by rightists says that the rot has set in. The price tag attacks have set the stage for this and they must be treated with the full resources of the state.

I hope the "price tag" people who murdered the Arab youth are satisfied with the mayhem it has produced. This is a sad situation. We still don't know the reason behind the Arab boy's killing. But whoever did it is wrong. Killing three jewish boys was wrong also. If by any change, we jews did the killing then what is difference between arabs and us? It was sickening to hear those two arabs singing after killing our three boys but it was also sickening to see all those jewish posts asking for more blood. If we will ask for an eye for eye, then whole world will go blind. Anyone though how much does these riots on street cost us economically? How much each war costs us? The abduction of the Arab youth leaves many questions unanswered. 1. What happened to his friends when they collected him to go to the Mosque at 4:00 am ? 2. Why didn't the boy scream and shout whilst being abducted? this would have woken the whole village at 4:00 in the morning. Surely this would have been an unacceptable risk to the abductors. Why not kidnap any Arab boy outside the village? 3. Why did they not shoot him? Jewish settlers are armed. Another scenario also exists: The boy at 16 years old was clearly gay and an abomination to all his Muslim family. Family honour was at stake and the boy was killed . This is what Muslim law specifies to "passive" homosexuals. Of course the boy was baited in leaving his house at 4:00 am by his 'friends'. He knew his abductors waiting for him; this is why he didn't call out and even if he did no one in the village would listen - they were all in on the scheme including his father. They didn't shoot him because they were not in possession of firearms whilst most Jews would be. This scenario might sound far fetched but anyone knowledgeable of Muslim culture knows 'honour killings' are common in the Muslim world. No doubt they would have been told to murder him when they can most easily blame it on Israelis.

This poor teenager was an 'insult' to his family's 'honor (as if they have any.) Being gay in the Arab world is a free ticket to be killed. Just look what happens in Iran. Keep in mind that Islamic culture promotes death: killing wives, sisters and other family members for "honor" (as if there is anything honorable about murder) and they preach and believe that death in jihad results in achieving "martyrdom" and paradise.
