May he rest in peace: the patriot who lost his son, a hard worker and a poet. He had moments of happiness in his last years, says his daughter, but I read this eulogy as an expression of sadness.
Many Israelis are sad when they realize that throughout their lives they have very little time for enjoyment and peace. Israel goes from one crisis to the next without respite, without a moment to relax. Basically, Israelis very sad people and the Israeli government does nothing to turn it around. Maybe Israelis respond to surveys with expressions of satisfaction, but their hearts bleed when they have no time to really rest and enjoy themselves.
