it is very normal that both Hebrews & and Japanese will interface via English. On the other hand, we should not disregard the long-term gains that can be realized by making sure that instruction in basic Hebrew proficiency is available in (at least some) of Japan's school. An appropriate goal is that Japanese parents should view ability to read/write the 22 Hebrew letters, as having higher priority than proficiency in "Roman Numerals". In fact, that should be our goal worldwide.
