1. Hey Kerry ! How're those 'peace talks' working for you??
BUILD BABY BUILD!!!!   (07.10.14)
About the same as obozo's refusing to visit the US Mexican border... right?
2. Kerry
A V ,   London UK   (07.10.14)
It's all your fault and Obama because you represents the palis they had no reason to do a del with Israel
3. Why is he talking to Israel - lost his way!?
BUTSeriously ,   Sydney   (07.10.14)
4. Cease fire
James ,   USA   (07.10.14)
Mr. Kerry, please go home...oops wait a minute, we don't want you here either. Isreal will stop the campaign when Hamas has nothing left to use to attack Israel with, including Hamas militants. Then explain why you support the PA finacially? The group who delibritly targets civilians and nuclear reactors? The US has no respect left in the world and that includes most of Israel. Next the US should worry about the tunnels between Mexico and Texas.
5. What I don't understand ...
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (07.10.14)
... is why Mr. Netanyahu will even take Kerry's calls. Kerry can chat with his opposite number -- that would be Mr. Lieberman -- and frankly, I am sure Israel's foreign minister is far too busy to take Kerry's calls. For that matter, I expect that Mr. Netanyahu is far too busy just at the moment to return Obama's calls. It's okay, Mr. Prime Minister, we do not expect you to speak with Obama in these trying times. Put him on hold for a week or two, okay? You are responsible for the Israeli people, and not subject to the whims of a lame-duck U.S. head of state who is destined to go down as the absolute worst president in the history of the United States. And that's saying something, considering some of the ones the American people have had to endure ....
6. Kerry and Rocket Bombs
Brod ,   USA   (07.10.14)
Kerry should experience being on the receiving end of Islamist-Jihadist Rocket Bombs before talking about de-escalation. It is better for him to shut his mouth and let Israel do its job in neutralizing those rocket bombs that threaten Israel and the region.
7. dear mr kerry....
les ,   canada   (07.10.14)
i understand you are hussein's poodle, but before you stick your loser nose in to israel's business please work on the "de-escalation" for syria, iraq, yemen, central africa etc. oh...and don't forget chicago either. you can only talk when your MENSION(S) come under daily rocket fire. thank you.
8. THANK G_D! EVERYBODY CAN GO HOME NOW. KERRY IS HERE!!!!
Lynx ,   Palestine   (07.10.14)
What a sucker. The best friend of the Stupid idiot in the White House over here (...again) to talk more bullshit and waste everyone's time. This is soooo cringe-inducing, pathetic.
9. Abbas urges Calm
Sammy ,   Newcastle   (07.10.14)
Has he finally GOT IT? Has he finally realised that inflammatory incitement and talk of 'genocide' by Israel takes the heat off the people who STARTED THE CRISIS IN THE FIRST PLACE? Abbas could if he chose to serve as a conduit and mediator to halt this madness and restore his credibility with Palestinians in the West Bank and Diaspora and Gaza and Israel But for that he has to act with caution, impartiality WISDOM and be constructive...which he CAN do if he wants to... Could this be for Abbas an opportunity for History in the Making and serve Palestinian National Interests towards our negotiations for Statehood? Yes - but it takes leadership and VISION Abbas SHOW US WHAT YOU ARE MADE OF
10. DE-ESCALATION
Robert ,   Israel   (07.10.14)
Kerry's complete failure in dealing with peace efforts among Israelis and Palestinians is that Kerry tried to do things the "American way". I am sure he NEVER understood Muslim mentality. -Obama sent war ships to the Mediterranean because of the Syrian internal conflict. The ships were stationed next to Syria for a couple of weeks and then turned back. That meant a complete defeat of the Americans according to the Muslim mentality. Something similar happened with the last wars among Israelis and Palestinians. We broke their rear and more, but as we returned home, they considered it as our defeat and they celebrated it as if it was so. We shall never forget that we are dealing with people who only believe in the "CULTURE OF DEATH". Death is what allows them to reach Allah and the famous seventy virgins.
11. Kerry to Blame
Ed ,   USA   (07.10.14)
What's happening now is the result of Kerry's peace initiative. Keep blaming Israel and Hamas will be emboldened to further attacks. Kerry completes the "cycle" by insisting Israel not defend itself. This is the real cycle of violence.
12. Israel you have unwavering support and solidarity
Tim ,   Brighton   (07.10.14)
Hamas has virtually squeezed dry every drop of sympathy or empathy for its cause throughout the world Today for example at Meetings in London even the hard nosed Anti Israel Lobbyists have condemned Hamas without reservation not only for its attacks on Israel but also for putting so many Gazan lives INTENTIONALLY in harms way Every country has the right to self defence against these outrageous rocket attacks directly into Civilian Areas Israel and the IDF and indeed the Government is to be admired by its measured, dignified and utterly determined way in which it has responded to these intolerable attacks and the way it has CLEARLY and DEMONSTRABLY done everything possible to minimise loss of Gaza civilian life
13. What IQ level do you need to be a Politician Mr.Kerry ?
Roland ,   london England   (07.10.14)
14. Deescalation and?
max ,   Washington DC   (07.10.14)
Secretary Kerry knows the horrors of war and that to save lives deescalation is needed. What I would add is that Hamas and the Gaza Terrorist Organizations need to be disarmed and both Gaza and areas under Palestinian control need to be demilitarized for the safety of Israel and the Free World.
15. the US is the last country with a right to dictate
zionnist forever   (07.10.14)
Israel faces regular rocket attacks and has soldiers teenage boys kidnaped by these terrorists but when we say enough is enough and decide to hit back the US wants de-escelation making it impossible to do enough damage to the terrorists that we can stop the attacks. The US was hit by a single terror attack and the response was to launch a 13 year multi trillion dollar military operation in a far off land to fight the terrorists. When America wants to protect itself it goes to war but when Israel defends itself we are told to deescelate and get back to giving up more land through the peace process without even any commitments frm the terrorists that land for peace will mean real peace.
16. typical hypocritical obama administration logic
zionist forever   (07.10.14)
The US experienced a single terror attack and their solution was to go round the world to Afghanistan launch a multi trillion dollar war which has been going on for about 13 years all to drive out the terrorists. Israelis have spent years under fire from rocket attacks and we did nothing except bomb empty fields. They kidnap and murder 3 Israeli teenagers and the only thing done is a ground operation so house-house searches can be made. Finally the last straw is snapped and its decided to use military force to try do something about the terrorism but the American reaction is avid de-escalation and of course once we end the military operation the US will be calling for us to give up more land in exchange for empty promises. The Obama administration are a bunch of hypocrites and they are responsible for the break down of relations with Israel.
17. De-escalate This!
Koose E Mack ,   NY US   (07.10.14)
18. Just don't let Obama's messenger to gum up the works, again,
N.L.Katz ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (07.10.14)
in addition to all that the Obma/Kerry duo has done throughout the region!! Enough with novices!!
19. All that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) does is employs...
N.L.Katz ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (07.10.14)
... tools and methods by which to ensure the sovereignty of the liberal-democratic and sovereign UN member state, the State of Israel; and, and to ensure the lives of its citizens. If some here or elsewhere don't like it, tough! We, Jews, are entitled to exercise the very first of all human rights: the right to life and life's defense. We have vowed, and we mean it: Never Again!! P.S. Mr. Kerry - and Mr. Obama too - Name a country that would not act as the State of Israel does!
20. Hey Kerry ! How're those 'peace talks' working for you??
BUILD BABY BUILD!!!!   (07.10.14)
About the same as obozo's refusing to visit the US Mexican border... right?
21. Ignore Lurch
Ezra ,   USA   (07.10.14)
Lurch is being told by his taskmaster to remove that embarrassing situation Hamas has created. Make it look like Israel is sorry for being a sovereign state.....again.
22. Obama/Kerry are irrelevant to the world. Sadly USA is too.
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (07.10.14)
They called for for deescalation in Syria, Crimea, Ukraine, Yemen, Tunisia, Afghanistan, Libya, Nigeria, Iraq, Egypt, Mali, China-Japan, Korea. Only escalation to a peak eventuality resolved a few of these conflicts. No one is listening to these two fools. The worst thing about it is that it severely damages the reputation of the US in the world.
23. Kerry was never an "Emperor" nor
DT ,   TA Israel   (07.10.14)
did he ever "have any clothes and a brain"
24. nice that Lapid is swinging over to support us
Larry ,   LA (formerly)   (07.10.14)
At least he is not a Arab supporter. I think he sees the reality of the Arab hate towards us and has moved a bit towards the center.
25. Deescalate - when Hamas promise never ever to fire a rocket
(07.10.14)
Otherwise no deal. And Putin should spend his time worrying about ethnic Russians in Ukraine which is his backyard rather than in Islamic Mid East which he doesn't understand.
26. No Mr. Kerry it doesn't
mindRider ,   The Free World   (07.10.14)
it needs escalation, where finally Israel is allowed to pull the evil weed of Hamas completely out from Gaza society. If not in one or two years this poisonous herb has grown back again to what it was before and the cycle re-starts.
27. I wish the politicians sustain from unecessay commentary.
Adi ,   Zurich   (07.10.14)
I wish the politicians sustain from unecessay commentary. Pleasectake lesson from Benny Gantz. They work and talk v little.
28. Lapid also has something to say?
(07.10.14)
Bennett's wife considers him "empty". I think she's not the only one. Most people do.
29. How Kerry can make a difference
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (07.10.14)
It would help if Kerry would simply say that the US administration supports its allies. A clear statement like that is something that we never hear from the Obama administration. No wonder the terrorists are encouraged to engage in aggression. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
30. Retalliation against Gaza
Phillip D ,   Sydney Australia   (07.11.14)
If Bibi capitulates and buckles to Obama's wishes, Israel will be back again to quell the Arab aggression as it has had to do many times before. Hamas' will to attack Israel MUST be crushed - now is the time.
